Generation of Unity
Jun talks about the aftermath of the incident. With 80% of The World's data destroyed CC Corp was forced to abandon it, and began integrating its data into a newly created game to form The World R:2. The Harald Blackbox was also secretly placed into the new game. On the day before The World R:2 was to be released Jun logged onto his private character, and went for a walk through the Root Town of Mac Anu. The players of The World, upset about the upcoming loss of their characters filled the streets of the city, saying goodbye to their friends in the game, making plans to meet elsewhere, or just shouting obscenities at CC Corp. Today was a day where administrators were absent, the players were left free to do as they pleased.

Wandering through the city Jun was suddenly stopped by a small voice behind him.

"Aura is... Aura is... Integrated into The World."

Turning he saw a small barefooted girl girl with saffron hair

"Aura, threw away individuality and became a 'God', then threw away being a 'God' and distanced herself from cause and effect, returning to inactivity. That is why, I too shall return to the wind."

With that the girl vanished, leaving a confused Jun behind. After a moment he realized that she had looked almost exactly like Aura had prior to her ascendance. He realized that Aura still existed somewhere in the system, and that one day people of the next generation of players would discover her.

They -will- appear, no question about it. After all, even on the unfinalised third disc, Kite's face was on it. It's just a matter of what will happen to them in the end. Will their story stick true to the TSN theory? Are they doomed to forever wallow in the sidelines while Haseo takes all the credit? <---I'd cry if that last one happens...

If the real Kite never appeared in the first two he should in 3. That would be pretty cool. His mature voice will probably sound better and he would look better too.

I'll squeel if the Azure Knights become Ultimate AI's Watch them be like "Man, we're ugly." And purdy themselves up.

It be nice if Kite came back, he was the one that started the .hack games after all. About Aura thou, Zefie said of course "Aura, threw away individuality and became a 'God', then threw away being a 'God' and distanced herself from cause and effect, returning to inactivity. That is why, I too shall return to the wind." Now she said Aura was "inactivity" in other words, I think she could of went back to sleep. Now this is only a guess of course but if that's so, she could be back in her birth place. That place being "OMEGA HIDDEN DARKSIDE HOLY GROUND". Yet I'm not sure if that place made it to "the world R:2". But again, this is only a guess.

Wait so Aura went back to sleep? That kind of makes sense since Aura was already awakened in R:1, but since this is no longer R:1 it may be possible that since it is a different game, you have to reawaken Aura.

Either that or we really need to get us some alarm clocks and wake up Aura. -_-

For whatever reason there seems to have been a statue in the Cathedral in which Tsukasa stayed and Haseo likes to spend his PKK time in, mourning for Shino.

She most likely got damaged since she couldn't make herself a new body, even the 3 azure knights have seen better days..( Balmung's wings looked clipped <.<; and Kite is stitched) so she's most likely regenerating or something, getting a new body of some sorts.

And Ovan being  infected with the AIDA most propably is looking for her due to the fact  The AIDA most likely wants to infect her or something

Well its only a guess. I'm just following what Interim Reports say.

We don't know for sure if she got damaged when the world R:1 was destroyed and we really dont know if she truly lefted. If you read clearly, it says "Jun realized that Aura still existed somewhere in the system". Remember also Jun met with Zefie after the destruction to the world R:1. And again it was only a guess that she went back to sleep, not a fact.
