Naruto VS Bleach

What anime do you perfer?
Well, I don't like them both, but Naruto doesn't focus only on the fights, characters are much more invested, I pick Naruto...

I pick Bleach because the main character doesn't say "Believe it!" every five seconds, and he doesn't have the voice of a 7 year old kid who was just kicked in his happy place.

im leaning twords Naruto because most characters have sad backgrounds. I haven't seen much of bleach though. My friend keeps up with naruto and bleach and he loves both as his fav. but he says that bleach is winning because naruto is in fillers right now in japan.

I like Naruto more, though there's something to be said about ninjas who could kick your ass in roughly four seconds, but instead choose to explain why you could never beat them for roughly ten minutes before proving their superiority. ^^

then im the same, i only managed to torrent the first episode a while ago, now that the series is well into the 100's i just can't be bothered. I may buy the DVD's when the time comes. As for naruto, i just got tired of it; it was better without the english dubs anyway

BLEACH!
aside from a few fight's, naruto is all about an imature idiot who love's toilet humor trying to become one of the coolest types of people in the world, a ninja.
Plus 4kids got there hand's onto it and have seriously crippled any remote chance of me realy liking it to a great extent. That's not to say that I will not watch it ever, but it has just made me very skeptical about the series.
Bleach use's an original idea(as original as you could get). The main guy is more normal and would interperate thing's more normally than any other show where a normal person suddenly become's the hero of something which they didn't know exsisted.
And it remains normal for the most part. not only does ichigo have no real desire to rescue people but for a huge majority of the ep's, he is rescuing rukia just because he owe's her a large debt.(there would be some other underlying reason's of course, but you get the picture.

When has Naruto ever demonstrated a fondness for toilet humor? I can't believe I missed this the first three times.

I don't see that as a good thing. Why would you like a hero who is no better than we are? Sure, there's something to be said for a hero you can identify with, but that can be done without making him like Ichigo.

The plot in BLEACH is just an excuse for more fights and more fights.
Characters are not invested.
From my point of view, it is very childish.
It's as if Kubo Tite hit the spot, this is what young boys wants, fights, blood, boobs. It IS very low, indeed.
The main character, Ichigo, is simply NOT normal.
On the first episode, "WOAH! HE BROKE THAT SEAL! NO ONE DID THAT BEFORE!"
Doesn't it look a bit hypocritical?

i've seen about 187 eps. of Naruto
and um.. 1 episode of Bleach
i find Bleach better
