English Version of Gentle Hands Lyrics

I just downloaded the song (I know, I'm bad) from a site which I will not give away due to it having fan subs of Roots. It's funny how different our home made lyrics were when we did them a while back.
YASAHII RYOUTE [English ver.]
* Drawn in by an unseen cold hand,
I pass even time as it flows to eternity.
As your eyes look away into the hazy distance,
what is revealed to them, I cannot see.
As the moonlight shines on my bitter cold fingers.
Frozen tears of mine begin to flow anew.
I look at the sky. That distant far off dream,
it always has me in its view.
Unafraid, I reach my hand into the darkness.
I am at the point of no return.
If I truly realize the person I am,
hidden away inside my deepest memories.
** I still want to believe that you will return to me.
Until you are with me, together in this place.
I still want to feel until the end of time.
The gentle loving touch of your hands on my face.
Trapped inside this cage made of glass,
hurt feelings held captive in the cold and icy night.
From far beyond the infinite dark.
There must always be a ray of light.
I know that your eternal shining light
will embrace me in the warmth of infinity.
While trying to run from the pain of reality,
I'm losing sight of what is so important to me.
** repeat
* repeat
What is revealed to them, I cannot see.

I wanna see the english version, send me a pm or something about the site or send me the link. ^^
And wow..what a difference..english always does that for songs tho..completely change it or just..don't play it and put some other theme in it that isn't jap O.o. Inuyasha/Ghost in a Shell/Hack//Sign are the only ones that involve their original jap openings which is weird since they usually just make their own...>___>
Thanks for the strange lyrics..O.o..still a weird transition.

Whoops...sorry, if anything does happen. I'll take full blame for such a thing. Sorry again!

It's a really nice song. I like it.
I wonder if this is the version that will be used in the English version?

one thing id like to make it clear.... if 1 person happens to be downloading fansubs from a certain website, and thinks that someone else is also using it, is it legal to try to find out if he is right or not?

Those were all much more intelligible though, and sung by people fluent at English... And speaking of FF, Dirge of Cerberus has Gackt singing in Japanese I'm pretty sure...

Odd when I first heard the English version of Gentle Hands I didn't notice it was in English till some one mentioned it. Who ever sung this piece did a good job since her tone of voice is basically the same of the Japanese version. Well at least to me it is.

For once I see a song that has technically the same lyrics as the Japanese version. Kinda eerie.
I'm afraid the universe is gonna implode on itself soon.
And Tomoyo Mitani is still the one who sung it. In other words, this is the same one as the trailer with the "engrish", but we didn't have the lyrics at the time so....(cue Captain Obvious moment)

Its great to know what they are saying. Though when I heard the song when I reach the scene where Haseo gets his butt kicked by Tri-edge I probably prefer hearing it in Japanese.

Yeah, at first I didnt notice it was english either till I listened abit more closely. Though, I didnt know Obsession was english when i first heard it till I read the lyrics. Guess its b/c .hack is the firstanime I've ever seen to use full English songs(which is uber cool). Guess I wasnt ready for it.

Incidentally, my friend mentioned the black durag that he wears regularly and suggested to check out this website if I'm interested in purchasing one. This is the link

I completely understand your excitement about finding and downloading the song. It's always interesting to compare homemade lyrics to the official ones and see the different interpretations people come up with.
The English version of "YASAHII RYOUTE" seems to have a heartfelt and introspective tone. The imagery of the moonlight shining on your fingers and the hidden memories adds a touch of emotion to the lyrics.
It's clear that the song holds a special meaning for you, and I hope you continue to find comfort and connection in its melodies. Remember, music has a way of touching our hearts and expressing emotions that sometimes words alone cannot convey.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the song. If you have any more songs or experiences you'd like to discuss, feel free to share. Let's keep the positive vibes flowing!
Take care and keep enjoying the music!
