I'm sticking with the PSWii.

P.S.The reason I wrote Playstation 3 in caps is because Sony wants you to call it PLAYSTATION 3 not Playstation 3.

The only thing I'll get is a Wii. Nothing else takes to my taste. Everything seems to be relying on FPSs and frankly I don't like them, nor am I skillful at them. The controller is amazing, kinda like a light gun on steroids. Not to mention I'm guaranteed great games on the Wii. Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, and any others. Sorry Final Fantasy, but I may have to abandon you.

This thread's been done a lot... I swear the Search button on this board needs to be made in 56pt font, bold, and in red.

Anyways, I'm getting the PlayStation 3 first, and I'll consider getting the 360 when their games don't consist of inferior ports of PC games I already have. I don't count on Nintendo redeeming itself with the Wii, but I'm willing to give it a chance. So far, most of the games (except for maybe 2 or 3) seem pretty mediocre though, so there's work to be done and developments to be made.

PS3. It just has the right series and genres of games that I'm interested in.

Wii.....well, I'll have to wait to see if they come out with better games.

It was nothing more than a rumor. It's not true. Don't worry about it. There will be backwards compatability and you will be able to play used games.

Wii has the games, the media and a new controller. Plus we can throw around pikachu and kirby as Snake.

although im getting a PS3 i might borrow the wii from someone just to play that game! i wanna be snake and use "THE BOX"

Niether the Wii or Playstation 3. I'm just going to stick with Nintendo's handheld. They have a lot of good remakes and I'm kinda sticking with the classics.

Wii first because that is gonna be the easiest one for me to afford XD

And once there are used PS3s for sale and I've gotten tired of Twilight Princess and SSBB, I'll get one of those for the new Final Fantasy games and hopefully a new Kingdom Hearts title.

For me it has to be the Ps3 all the way It just has all the games I want and so far the games on other consoles have failed to impress me eg most 360 games are bad ports of PC games and the Wii just doesnt appeal to me very much (I have a friend who's getting all 3 anyway so I'll just go to his house to play the Wii or 360 lol)

You definately have apoint about the how much the wii will cost compared to other consoles but I have quite a stash of money for the single purpose of getting a PS3 lol. I'm sure the wii will have some great games but most of them just dont seem like games that would appeal to me (exception to Zelda and SSB, I would also like to try Red steel)
