Reason is because a ninja uses ninpo and can basically get out of any nasty situation. And the kunai is one badass tool

did you know in there are two kanji letters for Ninja? However the first letter if left by itelf is shadow. However I cant remember if Shadow = Shinobi.

its ironic how being different is now the norm. thats why i don't stand out at school. the less you stand out, the less likely someone is to shoot you when they go crazy....anyways, its a pirate's life for me. both are cool, but i'd like to be able to sail the seas and ****...

Have you people not learned what happens when you pick silly little arguements? Don't try to act mature and arrogant by putting people down when you don't like them or what they're doing. Just go away. If you don't like something it doesn't concern you. There have been too many arguements lately. Please don't let this turn into one.

I'd be a pirate but a space pirate like Ryoko. Ninja are kind of getting old. Things go in cycles. I'll probably want to be a ninja in a month or so.

well because people are doing it. In reality it doesnt make a difference how different youre trying to be. So what I do is whatever I want and when I want or need to do it. Otherwise I find it completely useless.

back in the day people would always debate if Ninjas could beat Pirates...well truth SE still hasnt truly made a "pirate" job. They call them Corsairs and they use cards and a six barrel pistol to get around things. Are they just as powerful as Ninjas? you couldnt be more wrong XD

REASONS WHY I'M A NINJA:
(and possibly anyone else)

2. I'm a jerk who likes to to do a hit and a run-away real fast.
3. I'm an A$$hole who likes to run around like an idiot, and then run directly to someone while doing this, and then rampantly slit someone's throat, and still not break out of looking like an idiot. All this, and make my exit by idiotically and flimsilly disappearing without anyone being the wiser.
4. I like to think I'm someone who will hump someone's leg one second, and suddenly dissappear the next, leaving behind the residual feeling of being violated eroniously without ever having the chance to object to it.
5. My famous quote that I'll whisper into someone's ear when I'm killing them softly: "Struggle B!TCH!! Struggle like the lil' whore you are!! It's time for you to make me LAUGH!!!..."
6. Someone's walking down a street. They feel secure. They feel confidant. They're sure that nothing is going to happen. AFX: SLIT!! "Oh my GOD!!! Someone just ganked that fool!! But there was no one there!!! Holy $H!TE!! HOLY $H!TE!!..."
7. Sneaking around while in stealth mode has many purposes, and not just for having the jump on someone.
8. It's much easier to gank someone and steal whatever crap they may have, rather than doing all that hard work.
9. No one hates nothing more than a Ninja with a mouth.
10. No one hates nothing more than a Ninja that humps your leg while you're not looking.
11. Why go through the trouble of confrontation, when you can just stab them in the back. Tell me how is that not far better, quicker, less drama, less hassle, and far more efficient??
12. No one sees you coming.
13. No one can ID you fast enough or definitively enough.
14. Being a sneaky bastard so that you can fight another day is a smart way to live.
15. no one can pin you to the crime for a fact.
16. Ganking someone and then running away is a way and is a part of life for Ninja.
17. You survive more by being a conniving jerk.
18. Bad boys get ahead, but nice guys get to live by kicking the bad boy in front to take the bullet for nice guy. That's called "coming out on top of the game".
19. Did I mention that you get notoriety as a major jerk?
20. People hate you cause you gank them. People want you cause you can gank anyone. People pay you to gank who they hate most, and those who hate you want to pay you to gank whoever they hate most. And most often its the the guys that hate you (and you just got done ganking them) that send you to gank who they hate (being your initial customers) which apparently had loved you till you were sent to gank them. Ahhhhhhh, what a love triangle!!
21. Why go Gun-Ho and possibly wind up dead, when you can sneak up and slit their throat, and save yourself 10 to 20 minutes of fighting, and possibly dying, by just two simple steps.
    Step One: sneak up on the poor bastard, and get into position.
    Step Two: Stab that Mo-Fo!! And then stab him or her again another twenty times, just to be sure.
    Step Three: (optional) take whatever they have.
    Final Step: Either you gloat over their dead corpes or you get the heck out of dodge, or do both.
