Hey all,
After a long time of not playing, I've borrowed a copy of //INFECTION from my friend. However, I'm stuck at Delta Plentious Smiling Hypha. I keep getting killed when the snake does it's lurch forward thing. Any tips on how to beat this?

Been a long time since I've played Infection....Let's see....Run back when it lunges and heal if you have to. When it does it's spell, wait till it does damage and then heal again. Keep weakening it till it's Project Broken, Data Drain, and then beat the crap out of it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll keep this in mind.
*sigh* Time to go at it for the umpteenth time. I wish I had a gameshark at times like these...

Erg. Died. Again. Didn't even get in to the Boss. I suck. I even got Elk the Air Wand.

I should go level up.

Level up to at least 14 or 15, 'cause you can even get up to Level 20 if you train hard enough for the lower-level dungeon.

You need potions....lots of potions (Matrix moment)
Aswell as buying potions and leveling as suggested by the others, I'd suggest upgradeing your armor, getting better weapons is fine and dandy but if you die too quickly they ain't too much use. If it really gets to be a problem then give Elk a decent healing spell and set him on "first aid" mode so he can fix you and whoever else is with you while you're attacking, that way you can focus more on your attacks and less on fixing yourself. Well thats my advice, hope it helps.

Know what's the worst thing ever stuck in a dugeon with lower-level PCs?
Running out of Ressurects.
I did this all the time.
Mostly with Elk((Grrr, low level useless Wavemasters. I so like Mistral better.)).
Though a couple times with Natsume.
And no Sprite Orcarinas, either...
I just got the second server, its name escapes my train of thought at the present time.

The skills that do the multiply hit to an enemy might help but just remember to heal after you are hit. Just remember the attributes of your character don't worry about parameter just your skills. Also collect lv. 2 and 3 scrolls will help. Also "The Moon" and the "The Hangman" are another good choice.

They should let you invite Mia into your party... I mean, is that sush a crime? It would be a lot more easy (I suck at grammer) if they let you do that. But then again that might of been one of the points of the whole mission: to make it difficult.

Though really, *kite*, if Mia was in your party you'd have to worry about her health points and spell points as well as Elk's.
I'm there now (^_^)
Like, right at this moment.
Gahh it's hard.
Kite = running around recovering SP, already ran out of scrolls
Mia = Slashing at the creature like a good kitty
And Elk = Standing as a shadow repeating the truth: "Am I useless...?"
Haha I'm going to be lazy and let Mia hack at it til I can Data Drain it.
I'm level 18. That's sad, in my opinion ><
Elk's 14 right now.

this place bothered me too. just to an area 3-4 levels above your own and clear the field and the dungeon if you want. also, the spell ap do helps a lot.
To get ap do get a speed charm or two and go to Delta server. once there, go to any area starting in Chroniceling. i suggest trying to find a low level area (for the second and third use passed over aqua field or forbidden holy ground for low levels) and get a weapon with tiger claws. use the speed charm and you'll be able to get into the portal before it if fully opened so when the monsters fully spawn tiger clwas will hit all of them. use fairy orbs and go straight to the zeit statue. if you are under a certain time (3:15 i think?) you'll get an item (time sash?) that will allow you to cast ap do. Ap do is useful since you can run away at the speed of light and such. this is how i was able to kill the snake.
-happy hacking

True, and the monster doesn't go after Mia so that's pretty cool. On the flip side, though, you can tell her to heal and stuff; I'd say it's an even trade off.

Wiseman's better, IMO.
On a sidenote, it would be cool to be able to use Mia more than they let you.

Yes... I find Elk really useless at this point. I just told him to stay out of the way and heal me... then I just started using my skills over and over until I Protect broke him. And, I advise to have many healing potions... It's been a while since I beat that though. I just finished Mutation and I'm waiting to get Outbreak. And by the way, Mistral is WAY cooler than Elk. She at least tries to fight... It's a bit pathetic when she gets like 2 damage, but I still like her better because of her efforts.

How could you get stuck? All you have to do is level up. There are millions of fields out there for you to level up off of all those dungeons, get money from selling the items from dungeon crawling, and stock up on 99x All healing/recovery etc. items. The games have flaws like that, you know? Lettign you level up as much as you want (almost) whenever you want.

When i did that...i was like level 28 and beat that level...just command party to use magic or skills, and yes, Elk can be REALLY not useful because he doesnt even battle...i was a very high level at the time, so it was a piece of cake...because i would train like heck xD
