Bandai announced at Anime Expo that they have acquired and will be releasing Karakuri Kiden Hiwou Senki, the 3 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation movies and .hack//Roots.

I guess this is good news for many who have been waiting for .hack//ROOTS to show up on normal TV, or at least DVDs. I know where my money will be going to soon. I think I'm going to need a job soon.

That's good news for everyone in the US and importers of R1 anime. I'm still waiting on the release of .hack//LotT here in the UK, has been delayed till next week or November :? :(

I don't think there has been a channel announced, but at Anime Expo ANN has it that Bandai pushing for the series to be on TV at the end of 2006 and on DVD in 2007. Most likely it will air a lot like the other anime, same channel and probably around the same time.

That I shall as well, though I might be "stealing" from them now, doesn't mean I won't buy it when it comes to the states.

.hack//Roots has been licensed, hurray! Now I only have to wait two more years before it's cheap enough for my Canadian network to accquire!

Seriously, we only just got Fullmetal Alchemist a few months back. It's like I'm caught in a time warp.

xD Double edged sword, seeing as it's now illegal to download... but it's good that they're bring the franchise to America.

:P Subtitles are too small to read on my iPod...

It's always been illegal to download, even before it was licensed.

Something tells me it's going to appear on Cartoon Network. .hack//SIGN and that other .hack anime appeared on it.

That's the one. There's Teletoon as well, but they prefer to air Canadian-made animation.
