I hope that's how you spell it. ^_^;;
Any pointers for defeating him? Recommended level? I got through the first two phases of Corbenik no problem, but the third killed me right away.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.

well i guess, just make sure you save most of your recovery items 4 phase three. You should have a healing charecter(but you knew that i'm sure) the person i brougt w/ me was wiseman. and i was about 92 when i fought him, but others have beat him on lvls like 60 & 70.make sure your healer is healing almost at all times. you should be almost the only one attacking the eye, unless all the other things are dead. try and get blackrose close to wiseman in order to protect him. jus make sure ur on a decent lvl, keep ur hp up and you'll be fine, and

SPOILERS MAY BE BELOW FOR THOSE NOT ON CORBENICK, but here they go...
Keep at least 1 person back healing and 2 attacking.
I've used Kite, BR, and Wiseman/Balmung (alternated on different plays). Both setups work fine.
If Wiseman, have BR attack, Kite stand back (wait for the 3 balls to pop out and concentrate on those and healing). Wiseman heals.
If Balmung/other, Kite stand back and heal/attack balls. BR and others attack.
Make sure everyone has Rip Main and Phal Repth. IIRC, you only get DD'd on form 3.

Use Wiseman as the healer. It works better, and was the only way that worked for me. Now, just attempt to beat the crap out of Corbenik with Kite and Blackrose. Stuff will happen, and you will die (ALOT). There is no Data Drain, so that makes it difficult. Make sure Kite and Wiseman can revive and Phal Repth.
