I recall a while ago I think Shinsou Wotan had talked about the meaning behind Sora's Name in Kanji, something that delt with a different story outside of .hack and that kind of gave a link to Haseo. Does anyone happen to know this information?
He can't be Sora. Haseo starts as a complete noob. He's never heard of the key of the twilight. He's not big on girls. His personality is also very different, no sound effects.
The terminal disc only says they'll need to find a new candidate for Skeith since Sora's player quit the game... I wonder if the original candidates who went into comsa will come back...
Well Sora was one of the coolest characters. His design, personality, the fact of his age and those fun lines he says. Talking with sounds is interesting.
You obviously haven't seen much of the info regarding GU.
Sora is in Fourth Grade.
Sora does not repent PKing and still does so in Unison.
He became inactive before The World was destroyed in the fire.
Haseo is a complete and utter newbie who has never played The World before. (Even he admits to this)
Multi-Weapon is a known and legal Class in The World.
The 'Dark Kite' you describe is known as Tri-Edge.
Tri-Edge is not Cubia.
Shino never sent a message describing Tri-Edge. (He is known by reputation)
Also, PKs never got deleted, the PK system was simply "off" during the games... In fact, I can only think of two times non-hacker users have done anything extreme enough to warrant deletion in the minds of CC: Kite, and Naobi, possibly Ender and Tawaraya, for running a guild that dupes items.

True, if Haseo wasn't a n00b even at a low level he wouldn't have gotten his ass kicked that easily by both PKs. At least I think, I'm from the u.s. so I won't know till September or whatever day it comes out.
