Has it been confirmed that.... [spoiler]

Post by Introitus »

that box in the area of the final battle is THE Black Box?

If so....

I WAS THE FIRST ONE TO SUGGEST THIS AND I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Unless I missed something, nothing about that area has really been "confirmed" per se...
Ovan calls the great wall of Moly Barrow (sp?) a "prison wall", and there's "something on the other side", but Yata poses the question "is it the one imprisioned, or are we?"

If you're going to make a vague topic, I ask that you please put something like "that box in the area of the final battle is THE Black Box?" in spoiler quotes and provide a warning that you're discussing the ending/final battle. Even if it's something miniscule like this, I'd appreciate the spoiler tags, just incase.

"First to say", there's a time difference between saying and knowning :P Not to mention pointless in bragging over 1 dothack fan site vs the dozens elsewhere that talk just as deeply as here.

For the last time (at least, I hope it's the last time), the "black box" is NOT a feature within the game. It is the term used by CC Corp's programmers and debuggers for the unopenable folder containing Harald Hörwick's code which runs The World.

It's not even a literal black box. It's a programming term used even in the real world.

So, this whole topic has been entirely pointless?

You think this would be locked by now.

the term black box is used to define something where something goes in, something happens that is unknown and out comes a result

mostly used for planes in the military when something malfunctions in a part that no one knows about
