Mistral wasn't a rare item hunter. Well, she does want every item in the game, but her prime goal seems to be having fun. Unlike that daughter of hers who's obsessed with rare items.

So the Mistral of each series is:

SIGN: A-20
.hack: Mistral...obviously ¬_¬
Legend of the Twilight: Mireille
Roots: Tabby
GU: Sakubo

Though we can't be sure about GU until we get the chance to play it.

Nor is A-20 or Sakubo, though the idea that I am basing this on is personality. A Rare Hunter can be the complete opposite of Mistral or Mireille and act especially serious, but they would still have the same purpose.

The four seem to be especially extreme in terms of emotion, the kind of Rper that is always acting happy no matter what. Though thinking back, we can not be sure about Sakubo, particularly since only Saku appears to fit that description to any degree.

Unfortunately, we have no other character that appears to be more extreme than Sakubo, and they do look rather similar anyway.

I don't think their was a Mistral in Sign. Sora or BT might fit the rare item hunter one though since they both want the Key of Twilight.
