I would like to get a better idea of the information that is written here. There are a few small pieces of information on the characters, Kousaka seems to have been a member of another Guild and left to join the Twilight Brigade while Tabby has only recently joined The World R:2.

There also appears to be a Guild known as TaN who are opposed to the Twilight Brigade. The green-haired Twin Sword pictured with Haseo is a member of TaN

While the scenes are impressive, we know next to nothing of their significance or meaning. Is there information on the relationship between the characters? Who are the players that appear to be using that spell on Haseo? What is the purpose of the Twin Sword character?

The silhouetted figures in the poster are very intriguing, I suspect that they are connected to TaN. However, I would imagine that it will be a while before we uncover exactly who they are.

They give the character classes on this page as well, of course, we all know:

Haseo - Multi-Weapon
Ovan - Steam Gunner
Shino - Harvest

But we now have these to add to the list:

Tabby - Grappler
Kousaka - Steam Gunner
(Firo - Harvest?)

Man Umbra you got an answer for almost anything do you? TaN... wierd name for a guild but yet strangely clever.
Is there information on the relationship between the characters?
I can't really answer this but I got a feeling you will soon.
Who are the players that appear to be using that spell on Haseo?
the spell that the charathers are casting looks like Repth or a healing spell, my guess they're part of The Twilight Brigade Clan and they are part Haseo's party in the Arena Battle. This is only a guess, I'm not positive if I'm right or not.
What is the purpose of the Twin Sword character?
she may be like A-20, she was a part of the cast in SIGN but she never really had much to do with the story.
(Firo - Harvest?)
Gaspard is a Harvest too, his staff was just small. So Firo's staff may be the same way, its there we just can't see because of its size.

I'm afraid not, I've given you all the information I could gather myself.

The reason I ask is because Haseo doesn't appear to think of them as friendly, he's facing them and is in a fighting position. To me, the spell looks like some sort of trap, it may even be a paralysis spell.
wave killer wrote:she may be like A-20, she was a part of the cast in SIGN but she never really had much to do with the story.
Correction: The character is aapparently a Blade, rather than a Twin Sword.

While he may be a minor character, his name is given, though I can't translate it, as well as his Class, as you can see above. This much information so early on suggests that they may play a supporting role like that of Krim or Ginkan, rather than a minor role.
wave killer wrote:Gaspard is a Harvest too, his staff was just small. So Firo's staff may be the same way, its there we just can't see because of its size.
Gaspard was a Warlock, in the picture he carries a book and has been seen using it in previous screenshots. Rather than have his class given in a profile, it is simply mentioned with a screenshot, which is why I am unsure.
Nenja wrote:TaN is posible that is shortcut name not the compleate name.
That thought has crossed my mind as well, however, it was given in English, which suggests otherwise. We will simply have to wait for a translation before we can be sure.

You believe that two of the three are Bordeaux and Grein?

I am afraid that I must disagree with this theory, none of them appear to be characters that have appeared previously. The colour of their silhouettes provide us with an idea of their character colour-scheme, but there is not much else.

I would say that the Blade threatening Haseo could be the green silhouette, had it not been for the fact that the silhouette is a girl and the Blade resembles a boy.

So you were capable of translating the text in the article?

I have no reason to doubt that this is true, however, I plan on waiting for Kuukai, Shinsou Wotan, or another translator to confirm this.
SnowManZero wrote:oh, and what does TAN refer to?
As I said in an earlier post, we have yet to discover the meaning behind TaN, or if there is even a meaning to be discovered.

Character information (condensed version)

Haseo: Newbie. An outsider in real life, and not very good at dealing with people. He's going to grow a lot over the course of the show.

Ovan: As always, a mystery. A lot of people think of him as weird.

Shino: One of the few people close to Ovan. Gentle-mannered but strong-minded, she holds the Twilight Brigade together during Ovan's frequent absences.

Tabby: A 17 year old girl who likes Shino. Has been playing about as long as Haseo. Though she has cat ears, her personality is more like a dog, friendly and positive.

Sakisaka: Left another guild to join the Twilight Brigade. Often helps beginners like Haseo and Tabby level up.

Do you mean Kousaka when you refer to 'Sakisaka'? It appeared to me as if it was Kousaka who had left another Guild to join the Twilight Brigade.

So Tabby is a friend of Shino in the real world? Or did she simply befriend Shino within The World?
Nenja wrote:so haseo is not japanese since he is an outsider?
-_-' That is a very nationalistic way of looking at such a statement. What it refers to is Haseo's inability to connect with people in real life.

Well I'm guessing she knows Shino from the real world otherwise she wouldn't really be a friend if they just met in the game. Or when Shin said likes Shino that means Tabby looks up to her as role model or something like that.

I mean the guy who looks like he has a plant growing out of his head. According to that page, his name is read as "Sakisaka".

Perhaps I was too subtle. As best I can tell from how things are said, that "like" may well be in the romantic sense of the word.
