It looked like a good game. I can't remember the rating it got on X-Play but I can say it did have an interesting battle engine even though Morgan and Adam were skeptical about the card battle engine. Your thoughts.

I think the game was referred to being bought at GameFly or something. The art looked I thought it looked good but I was a little skeptical of why it was a game with a card battle engine.

I had to take a break form it near the start of the second disc and haven't really picked it up since. >_<

It's a really nice game, I, along with many others compare it to Chrono Cross, calling it the Chrono Cross of GCN. Not as good, but GUI and graphic wise. The battle system is interesting. Kind of combines Real Time with turn based.

And of course everybody's common dislike: the voice acting. Ugh. -_- It's not that the actors are bad, but when put through that filter and the WAY they say the dialogue just bothers me.

What was the deal with creating cards from picking up things in the game. That's probably not how it worked but I can't remember what I heard from the review of this game.

3. I found FFCC(FinalFantasyCrystalChronicles) boring ((only FF boring IMO)).

Card battling games are annoying but it's more of a challenge.

Everything can be stored in a Magnus (a card). Anything. So by finding Magnus with items already in them you can bring them out and use them. The developers wanted a logical way to explain how heros in RPGs can always carry so much equipment. In Baten Kaitos, they're stored in cards.

FFCC was only good with 4 people.

This isn't the traditional card battle system guys. Remember that.

Interesting probably a lot better then how they did it on Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

I mostly enjoy the plot of the game as well as the graphics. The plot is quite interesting but after playing for a while it starts to dim on the characters pasts, and that annoys me a bit. The graphics are very appealing to the eye and the clip scenes are nice to. The fighting system is alright to me however I've noticed that a lot of people do not enjoy the card battling style of the game. At first it's a tad rough to maneuver throughout the deck but as your game progresses your hands abilities will progress as well. I'm stuck on disc two where you are battling with all three bad guys: Ayme, and two other guys..sry can't remember their names at the moment so....if you know what I'm talking about please if you can/will help me out?

I think we're both stuck at the same place-the G/F/A (initials for spoielrs) fight. x_x

I'm just going to train and get better cards from local enemies. Worked in the past. *shrug*

YES THAT'S IT! Those initials are for

 Folon
 Ayme
and
 Giacomo

Thanks man! The only thing is I can't really get out of where I am without restarting but I think I can rig it to where I can regenerate at once..Thanks!

The filter is supposed to make the characters sound farther away than if you were actually in the room with them. You are not actually Kalas in that game, but his Spirit Guide (or something) that watches him and guides him. The camera angles of the game are the First Person POV of the Spirit Guide, and the filter in the voices is the way the Spirit Guide hears things (like through a long tunnel).

That being said, the only bad thing about the voice acting is the breaks in the dialogue. They seem like uncomfortable silences.

I love it. The world of Baten Kaitos just trapped my spirit within it. (and player even plays the role of a Guardian Spirit ;^^)
Even if the story could have been just a little better played.

The battle system is wonderfull in its own way and well...it just is amazing.

And in some point there should be coming a sequal to it that takes place 20 years before the events of Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean...and what I have read and seen and heard of it. It seems to be very nice indeed. Maybe even little better in its own way. ^__^

Ou...and Kalas and couple of other characters were my favorits (including Kalas's "father").

Yeah, I forgot the name of the main character in the new game (BK2). However it sounds great. I saw an article on it in a game magazine.

Sagi is his name.
Any idea when it will be released in Europe countreas since it has been in Japan some time already?
Ah well...it seems to come in United States in June...

And if someone, for some reason, wants to see at least tree short, but quite good looking, videos for it, you can look here ---> http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ngc/gk4j/movie/

Spoiler Alert! (it is a little...)
And it would seem that there will be only three playable characters...that is quite a suprise if you ask me. (It is an RPG after all.
But I would be more than happy if that is so. Might make the game more interesting...
