Innis: Easy? Or Hard?

I'm posting this in General Chat because it isn't really a neccasary Topic, just some extra chat.
Around 4 minutes ago I started fighting Innis, the Deciever. I was level 47, and brang around 40-50 antidotes, ressurects, mages souls, health potions, and restoratives. less than a minute after starting the battle and attacking innis with everything i had, he started using Data Drain, and around a minute after that, he got data drained... it took me around 3 minutes to beat him literally, did anyone else have such an easy time beating him? I thought you where suppose to be around level 45 and have at least 40 of the neccasary items... but he was the easiest boss to fight... he was even easier than skeith! did any of you beat him so quickly? or did you guys have a little trouble?

I'm moving this to the Infection/Mutation forum because it has to do with the playstation 2 games, which would qualify this thread belonging there.

It was a fun battle. I spent most of my time cursing because Vision of Self and Mobile Doll attacks were annoying. Plus I was even more annoyed that GameFAQ.com didn't have information about what element he used. I found out the hard way but I beat him using the Bloods to increase my status.

Easy so long as I had a few potions.

Innis sucks. He was probably the easiest phase.
Definately had the coolest dungeon "theme", considering all the phase and epitaph room dungeons seem to have a special thing added to it (Like reading certain parts of the epitaph).

innis was easy but he got in a cheap kill on me. he did a movie sequence attack and before i had recoverd he had annihilated everyone.
i also think that i had him DD able but he had an attack sequence and i couldn't anymore
i think it was him....

the first time I saw him, I wasn't even expecting a Phase, but I still beat him down without breaking a sweat.

I actually tried not to freak out when it was the first time I saw this boss. I was like "OMG, another phase" I thought he was harder than Skieth (I had atleast 3 tries before beating him).
But after fighting Innis I was like "What the?"

Skieth was alot more challenging. His attacks were really powerful but so was Innis when he use his fire based attacks and Mobile Dolls.

the way that i figure it is like this- whenever i am close to death by sheer number's and power and whatnot, i reach the last room of the dungeon. guess who happen's to be behind the door, waiting for me to knock?

To me I think Innis was the most easy one out of the Eight Phases. I was at Lv.49. to go beat Innis but end it at Lv.50 win I fought Innis. so it was easy to beat.

Innis? One of the weaker Phases, (un)fortunately. I had expected more of it, especially after Skeith whooped my butt about 5 times, before I bothered leveling 'till LV.30

Actually, after Skeith, I had no trouble with the rest of the Phases, aside from The Seductress (annoying mass-charm attack ><) and Tarvos (cheap attacks, takes a long time). Even Corbenik was disappointing, after finishing him off last night for the first time.

Why do games usually do that. The first boss usually is the hardest then the next one is a disappointment. I found that fighting Innis was a bit difficult but I managed to beat him on my second try.

Beats me. In some of my RPG's, the final bosses are a downright pain in the butt. But that's not nearly all of them.
Still, fights with the Phases, no matter how easy they might be, give me this special feeling of anxiety and thrill. Not many games have instilled that kind of feeling within me, yet.

True, when I get my butt kicked I can't wait for a rematch.
.Hack//Infection
Example: Fighting Skeith for the fourth time with better healing items. Still got my butt kicked. Fought him again with a friend visiting my house and kicked his butt and enjoyed every minute of it.
