Near the end of the .hack//Legend of the Twilight manga, there is a post by the famous W.B. Yeates, who is playing as  Hokuto in .hack// A.I. Buster. Aside from a cameo in the background and near the end (with the other blatant cameos) this character has no interaction with Shugo and his party. Unless Yeates was playing as a different character, he/she couldn't have known the details expressed in the poem. So my question is: Who in .hack// Legend of the Twilight is W. B. Yeates?

They'd have to have been old enough to have been playing The World since A.I. Buster, which is roughly for about 4 or 5 years, so Mireille is out of the question. My guess is that it could possibly be Kazu, but that's just a guess. My apologies if this topic has been covered before.

yeah but the thing is in the Book .Hack//AI Buster W.B plays as a low level player to decive people.

She doesn't appear in person in the main story of LotTB. She's shown (using her  Hokuto character) in the Rena Special manga, where we learn that she's been a friend of Rena's in the game ever since Rena's first character.

You're getting it confused with the short story .hack//Rumor, which appeared both in the Rena Special and in AI Buster 2.

The relevant manga is 16 pages. The volume as a whole is 48 pages, containing this and a couple of other manga segments, the story //Rumor, and a few other activities.

If you mean the special manga with Rena, then only through the Rena Special Pack I believe.

Hokuto isn't Rena. They're two different individuals. Rena, however, did have another avatar.

... urr, sorry to bump a 7 day old topic, but Hokuto does appear in UdeDen manga. You see her PC in one frame, though I can't think of the volume or the page, you do it see it. T_T;;
