is tsukasa a dude or a girl?
because here on the board some say he, and some say she...
i thought..it..(no offence) was a dude :p
so can someone clear this up for me?

Yeah Tsukasa is indeed a girl, of course which we dont find out till the last few episodes, but yeah she is a she.

the thing that got me doubting in the first place was at the end of the gift episode... but since it was a parody i didn't know.. and here all say different, so anyway thx

Often times Tsukasa is cast as a male in order to fit such as yes parodies or fan fictions,just to make the puzzle between her and Subaru *fit*

but i promised my cousin i would watch the entire serie wit her, without watching it alone first.. so.. 3 more weeks...

I belive when He/she became traped in the world he char was writtened to be a guy.. He does lose his memory.

 Tsukasa's character is a guy. However, in the real world, he's a girl. He doesn't realize he's a girl until late in the anime though, because Morganna messed with his memories to make him think he's a guy.

Alternatively, it's possible that Morganna did not intentionally mess with his memories, but that the loss of them was a side effect of being pulled into the World that Morganna took advantage of. Afterall, how can an AI manipulate the networkings of the human brain?

as far as I can tell the series of dothack from AI//buster through the end of the four games of dothack go through a hidden thing on brainwave paterns , so if an AI produces similar brainwave paterns while someone is playing on "the World" and is completly focused on it then in teh dothack universe it is possible to mess with memories somehow, and Morganna would be that AI because she is the direct "child" of Harold Hoerwick and he studied the brainwave patterns, for the data drain ability for Aura though as odd as it may be it seems possible in reality from that explanation, jsut not probable, and possibly completely wrong in the dothack universe as well as in reallity, but the thing is it cant be denied, because its happened several times in the realitys past, jsut in small doses, they are called seizures (in a non offensive way) if a seizure is amplified then it can have a similar effects of the effects of a comatose victom, though I am not saying thats always the case. (though I might get yelled at for saying that, I hope I dont though)

The brainwaves thing was basically a half-arsed scientific interpretation of Liminality as applied by Harold Hoerwick, whom attempted to make it possible for the human mind to be in two places at once.

As for the memory flashes Tsukasa has, it should be noted that all the memories he has are bad memories about his childhood, which allows Morganna to manipulate him. These mainly occur when he makes physical contact with Aura. This is most likely because Morganna is reviving negative memories in order to keep him from getting too happy, and causing Aura to awaken.
