I'd say anime. The only super hero I ever liked was Batman. The rest of them were always kind of corny to me.

I kinda agree with that statement, so I will stay nuetral on this argument or poll or whatever, Spiderman might be able to kick kenshins a$$ because Kenshin will hold back, but the Batousai is a different story.

Pffftt. Anime characters would totally win! Say you got Spiderman vs Inuyasha. Spiderman's gonna try to do this web crap and Inuyasha just gonna let loose the Wind Scar and beat the heck out of him. However I'm neutral on this for the most part because it matter which anime character vs which super hero. Cheesy super heros like Superman would win against pretty much every character because of his multiple powers and immunity to everything except kryptonite.

Depends what you mean, honestly. Anime characters could mean any type of character, since the genre emcompasses a slew of sub-genres; but anime super-humans, for example, is another story. Only "superhero" I've ever found interesting is Batman.

MasterKite did you forget about the spidy sences, he could shot a web at his sword, pull it away from him, then do spidy sting, and kick his ass.

Kenshin might win against spider man, but he couldnt beat lets say gambit from the X-men, gambit would easly toss one throwing card and explode in his face.

Inuyasha is much faster than spidy. He could dodge.

If you put it all together, there would be a heck of alot more anime characters that could wipe everyone off the face of the planet than DC Marvel characters that could. But now that DBZ characters were mentioned, it even ensures that point even more. DBZ and YuYu Hakusho combined [or any show centered completely around fighting and fights]. That's some blinding speed along with a crap load of power. Marvel wouldn't stand a chance.

How about we look at some characters?
Superman:V.s anyone w/o kryptonite he'd most likely win, but v.s dbz ppl like goku and vegeta he'd lose.
Batman: If he had the upper hand he could have a chance... cept against ppl like goku.
Flash: Well, he'd be hard to hit, but Dbz charas would keep up(Notice a theme?)
Spidy: Kenshin could cut up his webs, inuyasha, too. So he's done for.

-Mind you, most super heroes are supposed to always win, to keep ppl back then entertained. Anime charas can lose, it's cool in animes too have the hero seem like the strongest and get smacked down. Dbz's theme is total oblivion so no-one stands a chance. Matching up these different characters is difficult, especially mixing something possible-ish(Kenshin) and immpossible and/or undefeatable(Dbz). Technically kenshin is weaker to others becauuse he doesn't have magic or something else. He just has hisself and his skill. But bring ppl down to his level and he reins champ. So everything is unbalanced.

Yeah but isn't it possible that anime was inspired after reading some of the comics in America. Just a thought.

Are you sure it's not the other way around? That alot of ideas in American comics was actually found and modified from Japanese comics/manga.

I concur. The only heros I liked were Batman and Spiderman really. I prefer the characters from the Anime universe, since most of them seem more human really (except maybe Dbz >.>; )
That's just my two gil really

Personally I like anime characters better. I'd rather hear "Die Inuyasha" than "golly gee wilikers Batman".

Anime is usually inspired by manga which is better than comics in my opinion.

Anime has more of an unpredicatble storyline.

Which is more exciting Bebop or Batman. Theres your answer.
