Which did you like best? The manga or the television version. Feel free to share your thoughts.

The manga version. The anime was just a rehash of the games entirely.

Coma victims? Data Bugs? Evil AI? Yawn.

Aura's Daughter? Digital Politics? CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT? Sign me UP!

I liked both. I really don't understand what you mean by politics being in .Hack//Legend of the Twilight. But I can understand how over protective CC corp is about illegal actions and vagrant IA running around "The World".

I think by politics AuraTwilight means the conflicts and issues arising within the characters in various positions of power in the story, namely the various C.C. Corp employees. (Balmung, Reki, Kamui, Magi)

I agree with the one guy that said both are fine. What was the ending to the manga, I forgot!

The anime had a nice solid ending... sort of lame though. The manga wasn't that bad, but it wasn't very climactic...

Lol, irony, Nishi. I felt the exact opposite. You couldn't of asked for a better ending for the manga. The anime...well...what the hell, really?

Anyway, as for politics, I guess that was the wrong word to use. I meant philosophy. (I'm still learning english.) Because the manga touches up on AI ethics and transhumanism just a tad, when the anime is just DEATH! >_> Personally, I think someone should've died in the anime. Someone major, like...I dunno...Sanjuro or something. Then it would've been cool.

Well I guess that makes it your opinion then. The danger and the gathering of all the characters came off better than some heart-warming thoughts about Shugo's adventure in some calm, empty feild, ending with a joke attempt... It's not that the anime was better, but I felt it was more climactic.

Heh, there was plenty of climax in the manga. Apparently all those fight scenes in Hidden Forbidden Holyground and the duel in Net Slum meant nothing to you :P

Of course they didn't mean much. LOTT isn't famous for fighting scenes, so you can either notice a fight scene because they're so rare or get so used to the non-action that the fights don't excite you much at all. Sure I liked them, but they weren't all that exciting.
I don't think you can really go back and forth on opinions of excitement, since we all feel differently... we can't "prove" anything, so I don't see why we're going back and forth on it. X3

Actually I like the whole manga a lot better than the anime...and also the ending.

I didn´t think much about the anime though, since it´s not the real
.hack-storyline I don´t value it really.
The anime is somewhat nice to watch when you want some comedy, but isn´t real .hack anyway...

I didn't think the anime or the manga had much comedy at all... it was supposed to be romantic and funny... but I could only sense romance in the anime (And a little in the manga). :B

Not really... sure it was creative, but I guess it was too simple for me to find humour in it.

Manga actually tied into the whole series, so there's no competition. Manga for sure.

the end of the manga is the better ending

The manga actually followed the storyline as well, so the ending actually fit the storyline in the manga. The anime just ended up doing some ending having nothing to do with the storyline.

Thanks you. I find it weird though that Reki and Magi are both Male or at least I think that's what it said in the third book.

I haven't seen the mangas ending sadly. I only read volume two.

The animes ending was an almost complete copy of Quarantines ending for those who didn't notice. Shugo/Kite attacking Morti/Corbenik3 with Hacker/Aura jumping in front of Shugo/Kites attack.

No no, you got it all wrong. Morti jumped in front of Shugo's attack. But yea, you're right.
