I ws searching for virus cores in infection and got Book of Ryu what is it and what do u use it for?

The Ryu books are for collecting bonuses like desktop wallpapers, music and cutscenes of the game.
Despite that, they´ll show you detailled statistics over different topics like amount of visited areas, encountered monsters and what items you get from them by datadrain, a list of your friends and how much affection you have with them, how much the gifts you´ve given are worth, which gruntys you´ve raised etc etc.
There are 8 Ryu books in total, and you gain one by doing a certain amount of datadrains...so keep using DD (but not so that the infection rate goes to high) to get them all and swim in bonuses.

The Ryu books are especially useful when you search for a specific item or virus core, just check the monster list or when you want to confirm how much the other characters like you.
The more a character like you, the better, cuz then they´re writing you emails, respond faster when you call them to your party and react better and faster in battle to your commands...
