does anyone have .Hack//mutation? if you do then you've beeten it right? i hope so, do you remember when you fought the last boss with the cores and things flying around, like the main core and stuff, well the main core ... there was someone inside the main core. and the character inside the main core looks just like Kite am i right? look very closley you'll see it, could that be Tri-edge forming inside the core? or is that just a currupted version of Kite or something .. well i have a big feeling that just might be tri-edge forming in that core. i never beat mutation so i dont know what happened to the core, did it blow up or something. i dont know im still fighting the boss in mutation so since i havent beaten it yet i dont know what happened to the core, or whats going to happen. so im making a theory that might just be tri-edge.

Really? I never notice it but after you beat it, it going to be like every other phase you have beat, it will sink into the ground.

oh, so you've beaten it, have you seen what happened to the clone looking Kite ?? or did it just sink into the ground and you didnt see anything ? because im kinda catching on to this little "riddle" the creators of .Hack are giving us, i'll find out whats going on sooner or later. believe me, im good at solving puzzles, riddles etc.

I didn't notice it because I was wondering what will happen next.

I think he´s talking about Cubia...cuz she´s the one who sends out the Core and the mass of Gomoras...Cubia herself only spits out an specialattack from time to time (i.e. Megiddo Flame, Balle D'Arche etc.)

The "Kite" in Cubias "heart" is Kite´s character data...Cubia copied it and will grow from it...-Kite, I wish you many fun with Cubia during Outbreak and Quarantine...this freaky thing will continue to grow and learn new attacks...you´ll face her another three times during the last two games.

However, there were rumors that Tri-Edge is a disguised version of Cubia or something like that...since  Cubia is some sort of an system guardian which attacks players with illegal abilities and any other player who she considers as a threat to the system.

Btw: Cubia isn´t the last boss of Mutation, it´s Magus, the third phase. Magus is that green fishbone which drops leaves...

r u sure its megus, i just battled him for the first time, when i im in the net slums for the first time, magus cant be the last boss, in mutation..can he????

I don't know. Went through it about 3 times and didn't see anything like kite. Or maybe I'm just too concentrating on beating the boss too fast.

I,ve just started mutation again and i haven't noticed anything. Try looking again when you fight cubia on the other discs. Outbreak and Quarrantine.

Which music??? If you're talking about Phase 3 music then I think it was ev11 or something like that.

Well, here's exactly what it says on the 4th dvd(One MAJOR spoiler)
 "CUBIA: Morganna could anticipate human behaviour and plan ahead. One example of this was Cubia, a monster designed to balance the game against hackers and edited character data. Cubia was meant to seek out malicious players with illegal abiliteis or items like the bracelet and data drain them, deleting their pc files. Untill kite received the "Book of Twilight" and the bracelet, no players fitting this description had appeared, so Cubia had not been seen. Once the bracelet became active, Cubia sought out Kite whenever he came in contact with Aura, because it believed that Kite was a threat to the system, to which Aura belonged. Cubia did not attack aura or the malfunctioning Morganna because it saw them as parts of the world. Cubia dissapeared when Kite destroyed the Bracelet because the danger to the system was removed and it's job was done. Cubia still remains in the world, however, and should something new appear that threatens the game balance it will launch again. CUBIA COPIED KITE'S CHARACTER DATA EVERY TIME IT WAS LAUNCHED AND WAS ABLE TO KEEP PACE WITH KITE'S INCREASING POWERS.

By the way, on Innis, did anyone notice, that the hole or gap looked kinda like skeith, and next to it, were ovals resembeling leaves (Magus)? Just a thought
