More theories

"When "it" was born...The first thing it saw...was a "PK""

By "it" i think it means Haseo. and by "born" its him registering and entering The World for the first time. After warping to Hidden, Forbidden, Holy-Ground, a player meets him there and pls him. Ovan comes and, being The Rebirth, heals HAseo to full HP and gives him the power of Skeith. in the end when he's surrounded by the blue, its him getting his power. and hwen it shows that black figure iwth three yes, it IS skeith, giving his powers to Haseo. when Ovan says "Welcome to the world" its because Haseo is a new player :]

Interesting theory, but I think that 'it' refers to Tri-edge and the PKer is Haseo. Tri-edge sees Haseo and data drains him.

Also, I think Tri-edge is the data that Cubia copied from Kite and then became corrupted. Maybe it was given a virus core and turned into a data bug version of Kite. Not real sure about how Ovan ties into all this.
Just a theory, though.

Maybe Haseo became bitter towards PKers because a close friend of his, so he decides to become a PKKer. But Cubia sees PKers as a threat so he uses the copied data of Kite to get rid of all the PKers. Unfortunately for Haseo, being killing PKers still makes him a Pker, so Tri-edge goes after him, too.

Or...

Haseo and his friends are PKers. Cubia sends Tri-edge to get rid of all PKers and eventually gets one (or perhaps all) of Haseo's friends, resulting in a comatose victim. Haseo seeks revenge against this Tri-edge, after all, the PKers weren't bringing physical harm to anyone. So he runs into Tri-edge at Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground (perhaps he was told to go there by someone) and attacks in a blind rage. He loses and is Data Drained. Ovan comes by and revives Haseo (for he has the power of rebirth), but he starts back the beginning, level 1. Then... uhh... some more stuff happens...

Anybody got some add-on theories?

Wrong. The "it" is referring to the AIDA, and it can't be Haseo. For an anomaly that autonomously evolved on it's own, Haseo would be too intelligent and complex, implying a creator, which AIDA doesn't have. He can't be a "new" player either because he's been around long enough to be famous like Balmung and Ouka.

Ouka.....? *laughs to himself* I know who you mean, it's just kinda funny.

It's not like there are any 'wrong' theories... yet. We don't know a whole lot about any of the characters, so we can't make too many judgements.
Besides, CC2 could add in some unexpected plot twists and change everything. Didn't they say that G.U. is going to be 3 parts?

Are you sure? That'd be more 80 hours of story game.
Sorry, but that sounds a little ridiculous for CC2, especially considering the length of each of the previous games.

If it's true, then... HAIL CC2! But if it isn't, then... whatever.

All known info on the upcoming game, .hack//G.U., can be found there, including magazine article summaries, scans, screens, and press releases concerning the title.

There will be three games in all in the .hack//G.U. series. Each game will have it's own story that will stand alone, unlike its four "chapter" predecesor. It's unsure, however, that we will be seeing the same cast of characters in each game.

If that's true, why is there only one trailer? True since it only takes 15 hours to clear infection ending at lvl30.....

Maybe you're right.....

Because, they're only releasing one game at a time? dur. Why release a trailer for a game that won't even be in production for a good few years?
