The dothackers in the new anime
Who do you think will appear in the new anime? I hope it would be Albireo and Kite.

I don't want to see Kite/Shugo or hear the word data drain in reference to the twilight bracelet. *Holds sign reasing, "No more Kite!"* Unless we hear from Shadowkite.
I'd much rather see Balmung wondering a mysterious field... for a reason that is not explained until gu, then see Alberio, Tsukasa and hopefully Hokuto form a party to go on an adventure with an added 'twist of fate'.

It's a little too early to acctually speculate what characters will be returning in the new anime, if any at all.
G.U. is set seven years after .hack//QUARANTINE, and odds are, the new anime takes place sometime near G.U.. Now, looking at this from a realistic view, the original cast would have most likely tired of the game by then and quite playing. But, then the age of the characters always do come into play. The younger you are, the more time you have and the longer you'd play. The older characters have have work/schoolwork/no free time, eliminating the possibilities of our adult/teenage cast from returning.
With that in mind, this leaves only but a handful of characters who truly have a chance as a returning character in the new anime, if there are any: Elk(I think he's around 11-12), A-20(probably same age as elk: had a very small role in SIGN, but still, she has a chance), and Sora (the ickle 7-year-old PK of DH00M..... What?).
Sora, in my minds eye, has the biggest probablity as a returning character(if not the character "Sora", his player at least). He's got the fanbase(yo *waves*), he's the youngest of the original cast(LotT characters are not included in the original cast), and, heck, he even has his own line of novels(.hack//ZERO).

You hit the button once, type in whatever you think would be considered a spoiler, and then hit it again to end it. And then highlight it once you're done to read it.black_feather000 wrote:i hope its a set of completly new characters but id like to see albireo and hokuto an supporting characters

Elk's supposed to be a junior in high school in the games... and then Sora (As well as Wiseman) are about 10-11 in 5th grade at the time.Guardian Ubiquitous wrote:With that in mind, this leaves only but a handful of characters who truly have a chance as a returning character in the new anime, if there are any: Elk(I think he's around 11-12), A-20(probably same age as elk: had a very small role in SIGN, but still, she has a chance), and Sora (the ickle 7-year-old PK of DH00M..... Nyeh...I hate to say it but yeah you're right. I highly doubt characters like Krim, Bear, Tsukasa and others from Sign are still going to be in it...well then again you're also right. Sora has a possibility since in Sign he was really young.Guardian Ubiquitous wrote: G.U. is set seven years after .hack//QUARANTINE, and odds are, the new anime takes place sometime near G.U..
