Hmm I've had it English but everyone is saying Japanese is much better...which I used for about 10 mins and loved. So I'd say Japanese.

English voice overs are somewhat great, but others it gets annoying for the fact that English VA's are resused such as Kite (.hack) > Kokobunji (Chobits) > Izzy (Digimon) was the same voice actor. Some parts the selections become terrible and not living up to the characters such as just about everyone in Trigun.
Though I must admit the JAP VA's are somewhat ok, the English VA' would be better if they could get more actors to create uniquness. All in all, I like to relax and enjoy my movies rather than trying understand and reading it along.

Very true and...Kite's VA is Izzy? Wow I just knew I heard his voice somewhere before! You're also right about Trigun the VAs were good but...well yeah. They do like to reuse the same VA for more than one character...and you know what. I'm still sticking with my theory. Poison Grunty's VA= Sora's VA.

Ugh, Digimon...
Anywho, my general rule is, as long as the translation isn't half-assed or heavily edited, I'll stick with my native language.
