i dont have any .hack games but someone told me about kite bracelet is broken and i wanna know what happen to him after his bracelet is broken?

ummm...okay: Kite had to destroy the bracelet to end the battle with Cubia. After that Kite had to go on fighting Corbenik (Phase 8) without the bracelet. Kite got through 2 forms of Corbenik. When he was after the 3rd and final one it used drain heart (a skill that data drains all enemies)...it data drains everybody...it was after Kite when Elk pushed him away and got hit instead...(long story about why Elk sacrificed himself...) Kite was more determined now and dodged being data drained multiple times. He was about to attack Corbenik when Aura appeared in front of him. Kite couldn't stop his attack and attacked Aura instead. Aura somehow died saying "mother" and after the screen fades away you hear a baby crying. Aura is officially "born" by now...after that everyone is okay, everyone recovered from their comas and Aura gives you another bracelet...THE END!!! I'm sure somebody else has a better explanation -_-

I have no clue what happened to Kite...maybe somebody else knows @.@

oh and i wonder what happen to blackrose but .hack ps2 is still cool anyway

Pepole are debating about if Kite did quit the game or is not playing it as much. I'm not sure whic my self.

Well since Shugo has his avatar four years later, I'm sure he just got busy with school or parted from the game.

 Orca mentions that he can't play as much during school, so maybe it's the same for him.

yea but the weirdest thing is when shugo use data drain cubia is not here shugo use data drain like 7 times

Hm, I'm just going to put this all in spoiler...

 I have a feeling he quite, basically because his life was becoming busy. He and Orca are in the same boat when it comes to school. And he and BlackRose might have started up some sort of relationship according to //analysis. O.o Besides, after all that hero work that he never intended on doing, I bet he just wants a break from it all.

It'd be cool if in G.U. we find out he quite then he returns as a side character.


I never understood how  Aura gave Kite the bracelet back, and how Shugo has it without Cubia being somewhere in The World? Aura did say they were opposite sides of the same coin. Someone care to explain?

 Sienc Aura is part of the System now she might have made it so that Cubia knows that the braclet is no therat to her or the system.

Ah thanks!  I totally forgot about how Shugo and Kite never data drained anything powerful (i.e. the Phases) since the end of the .hack games, so Cubia never showed up. But does that mean that Cubia in fact does still technically exist somewhere in the background? I really should play the games again

Kulaguy, although I respect you from what I've read on the boards, I have to say that you're wrong. There's only one Cubia, and he's kind've dead. The original Bracelet produced junk data and cached it in a seperate folder where it autonomously formed Cubia when it accumulated enough data. From that point, it was a sort of program bound to the Bracelet to destroy Kite and restore Game Balance, growing in power every time Data Drain was used, and when Kite destroyed his Bracelet, it destroyed Cubia as well. We all know this of course.

However, The future versions of the Bracelet were superior, as Aura's power is no longer bound by Morganna. The new Bracelets delete junk data instead of storing it away, not to mention that Aura is competent enough to maintain Game Balance on her own. Even if the two Bracelets did produce Cubia's, they'd have to share a Super-Cubia or something. That's also ignoring the fact that monsters in MMORPG's aren't stored in numeric values, but in templates that are continually tapped and generated, so when Kite data drained, he didn't make the one Cubia stronger (which of course, would cease to exist outside of battle) but it's template was rewritten. When Cubia was destroyed, his template file was eliminated as well because it was bound to the Bracelet. This causes an error that crashes Cubia.

Not to mention that if there was a Cubia, Aura would delete it. She herself told Kite it was too dangerous to let loose on The World.

actually I think Cubia still exists...but only one Cubia...because in //LIMINALITY OVA vol. 4 it said that Cubia still exists in The World and will launch again if a new threat were to appear...because Shugo never data drained something super powerful like the Phases...Cubia never realized the big threat...or at least that's how I see it -_- unless Aura did delete Cubia...which I doubt...

Do you think Aura would let a monster that can render players comatose loose in the World? Meh. On another note, japanese sources give entirely different theories than the Liminality DVD, which, by the way, doesn't HAVE those easter eggs in the Japanese version, which means they're north american made and thusly....not fully reliable. Sure, I'll listen to what Bandai has to say, but if there's a conflict with a more reliable source, well.... >_> Anyway, point is, we can agree that Aura incapacitated Cubia. He's not going to be bothering the heroes anymore.

yeah I guess...but Cubia looks cool >.< and scary at the same time...

Well, if Cubia is the other side of the Bracelet, then he should have it's powers or something. Besides, Aura said Cubia was dangerous for a reason. Losing a game character (if even that) is not what I call dangerous.
