Help with the game

Yo, this might seem like an incredibly stupid question, but how do I equip higher level gear (Bought from the town shops) onto party members? Do I just gift it to them when i'm in an area world? Soz guys i'm really new to this game (only about 7-ish hours in.) Any help would be appreciated! (Also trying to get more activity on the forum by posting here, lolz.)

Not sure if you got your answer but IIRC you can access the equipment menu for all of your party members while they're in your party. So go to the equipment menu and it'll show you Haseo but if you press RB or LB (I think) you'll be able to see your party memebers equipment options too. If you gift them an item, it'll be in their inventory and you can make them equip it.

Lol thanks for the help, I've already figured it out. (And I'm done with the first game and halfway through the second...)
