Anyone feel old?
Today, 20 years ago dothackers.net went live. I was still in high school and the PS2 was the PINNACLE of console gaming (might be true still).

Age yourself below w/ what you were doing 20 years ago on this relic of a message board.

I was over on the other dothack message board at dothack.info back in 2003 <.<
When it came to dothack, I was 90% over there, 5% here, and 5% at Blackwings.

I was a student back then.

I was in middle school enjoying the PS2 and codebreaker for my gaming needs. Even today the .hack universe has a special place in my heart. I am saddened that I missed out on the 20th anniversary stuff. I feel like running through the first 4 games and watching SIGN again. Hah!

Similar story (high school & PS2).

I had just gotten into .hack//IMOQ via used game copies, and was curious about the "GU" that was mentioned on the GameStop site, and that led me here.

Still holding out for a remaster of those or I'll have to dust the PS2 off and finally give those a proper run!

20 years ago I was in high school and just starting to learn programming...
It's really been a lifetime since then huh. Completely different person, completely different life.
I remember getting into .hack from SIGN and the Legend of Twilight manga originally, before even finding this forum.

I went by IronGrunty back then...this was the place to need out about one of my favorite franchises.

Trails/kiseki has been my go to in the interim...
