So that was announced early this morning on Twitter and Famitsu. There will be a HD Remake for the .hack//GU series; the article says there will be new features that it won't feel simply like an HD remake but a whole new game. There is very few details right now but more will be shown in this week's Famitsu magazine.

Damn, I was gonna post something, but you beat me to it. Its coming to PS4 and PC. New project in the works, but it depends on Bandai Namco. How is CC2 doing this with FF7 remake on their plate too? I can't believe they're remastering G.U. still haha.

Last week (or week the before?) SE announced they took CC2 off the project so they could have full control.

Probably wasn't moving fast enough because they're working on .hack

Apparently we all fell asleep on the wheel for this one.. a gu remake for PS4 and pc... And was announced June 15?

Hmm, I wonder what happened? Reading on it now and it kinda implies Square wasn't happy with CC2's quality.

PC release means very high chances. Even still, we have the old G.U. translation. If there's anything new it won't be too much work for modders, I'd say.

:O By the Power of Aura,we have a .HACK GAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!!

Seeing how .hack//G.U. was released in the west and i'm assuming this will be all 3 games in 1 then it stands a much better chance of coming out over here. Not to mention its on the PS4 and PC so no region issues for people and ofcourse many of us will be supporting the Japanese release of the game ^-^

Judging from those features, it really seems like they're dumbing down the difficulty, which kinda sucks, since G.U. is stupid easy to begin with.
