I really hate the middle ages and medieval fantasy garbage I mean, that's the thing about the past that people forget. All the ****. Animal ****. People ****. Cow ****. Horse ****. You waded through the stuff. You should spray 'em all with **** as they come through the gates, seriously, why do you people like that ****?(no pun intended)

Fiction romanticizes things. I, personally, don't see a problem with it as long as it stays in fiction.

If you remove the truth from actual historical texts, well, then, that's an entirely different story.
