Pokemon turns 18 today~

Japanese release date: Feb 27th 1996
Happy Birthday, this was the 1st game I got back then and it also spawned my favorite childhood cartoon. You will always be the best childhood memory for me!!!

I remember Red and Blue and the first season of the Pokemon tv show. I thought it came out in 1998. Good times playing that game and even played the card game for a short bit.

I have no plans to upgrade to gen 6, but happy birthday regardless.

Ah a series we all grew up with.
