An anime about Humans going extinct and the world being mostly populated by faeries, tiny, addicted to sweets, evolved from humans, don't act at all bright despite apparently having super-advanced technology, and have permanent vacant grins, no wings either, with threats like Starvation and only a small portion of the world survived, how will things fare for humanity? (Don't be fooled by the cuteness)

Finished watching the series, it kinda warms my heart, I'm definitely keeping this one among my other anime.
