So has anybody here besides me played the VN's? I'm currently replaying them to check out what else I missed, and the Total Eclipse game is coming out for PS3.

Play through Extra once again after Alternative and see how much of the foreshadowing you can spot.

 It's more of a 'death flag' than anything else, so yeah. Anyway, see if you can spot where Takeru sees himself in Alternative in Extra.

 From all the Valgern-on? I'm guessing it's the fact he became aTSF pilot, as well as the two seating cockpit with Sumika foreshadowing my favorite part.
 On another note, the games has rather realistic politics and a rather interesting plot for a VN, I was honestly expecting high-school Moe comedy.
Are there any other series' like this one out there?

 I mean where Alternative Takeru gets Portal'd into the Extraverse and then gets seen by Sumika. iirc there's a dialogue in Extra that references that.
Gundam Wing is the only other mech show I know of that has more Politics than Mecha  My Mech-fu is weak, but if you want bug-killing action then go and read Starship Troopers

Wing is kinda stale for me already though, and I've seen the movies of starship troopers, are the books any diffrent?

On another note, will they make new TSF's? I mean the U.K has the Harrier, will they produce a TSF version of it?

It depends if they decide to make 4th generation TSFs in a later installment.
I personally doubt it, but it's always possible.
If you want to see what's already been made, I remember there being a chart with all the current generations of TSF listed on it somewhere on the internet.

The book has more detail in it, and imho is much better written.

If you can read Moonrunes go and read TDA.  The Carrier Class that shows up in Alternative in the Final Mission makes an appearance and finally gets a named classification.
It's also explicitly stated that Venator class are recycled humans  during the scene where Tama's corpse is held up in front of Takeru and Meiya while they talk with the Superior

I read some of TDA,  but I've read that TDA03 will be the last one, some people are gonna get eaten or shot, maybe Ellen kills Yuzuka.
Considering them Wardogs trust her so much.

Still stuck on the first part of the VN...
Its kinda crazy to think that there is a freaken in-depth mecha series lying in wait for me to encounter.
