getting drunk is kind of silly and does not do anything to help my phobia

And yeah, getting all drunk is silly and something you regret with every remaining sense the next day, but drinking by itself it's not so bad, especially if you're in the right place with the right people c: And some alcohol can taste so great. Cocktails FTW CX

A most joyous birthday I wish for you. My 21st birthday wasn't filled with drinking either. My family has always been open with me about alcohol, my grandfather owned a liquor store and the other had a bar in his living room. At the end of the day, I've had enough drinks that I know I prefer cokes to alcohol. Which is why when my friends and I go out to bars I do the driving not the drinking, in spite of my bad sense of direction but that's what GPS were developed for.

Oh, silly me. That's what I get for not specifying. XD

Emetophobia - fear of vomiting (a lot of people have to look this one up, so I'll just explain it here). And I'm convinced it's a phobia because I flip out about it very easily.

In my experience, alcohol has never steered me wrong. That feeling that keeps me from doing the things I wanna do just goes away and I can cut loose.

That being said, don't get stupid about it. Stick to things you're good with and learn your limits. Even the brand of what you drink makes a difference because of the way they produce it.

For me I can only go with Skyy Vodka, Chopin Vodka, Absolute Vodka, Jager, and Bud Lite. Everything else makes me a bit sick. And its best to take it shot by shot and pace yourself. Find a taste and alcohol % you like, and stick with it.
