2008: Bonds of the Battlefield(CW)

In the year 2008, The BETA(Beings of the Extra Terrestrial origin which is Adversary of human race) are losing in their war with humanity, since the success of operation Ouka and the development of new anti-BETA technologies gave humanity a large edge over them, now the U.N forces are amassing a TSF(Tactical Surface Fighter) strike force to spearhead their final operation against the BETA, Operation Ragnarok.

"overlord, overlord this is hunter 3, we are being swarmed by Tank class BETA! We have already lost hunters 2 and 4 requesting immediate assistance in holding the line!" said the panicking Troy, his squadron was already out of ammo and are now using their close combat daggers to fend off the oncoming BETA.

"Sorry hunter 3, we can't spare any reinforcements, you'll have to make do with what you have."

Shocked by the reply Troy failed to notice a grappler class behind him, "Parker watch out!" yelled his squad leader over the comms, Troy spun his melee halberd to meet the incoming BETA, his close combat dagger clashed with the armoured forearm of the Grappler, despite his efforts he still got knocked down by it, Troy then attempted to get back up but then realised he couldn't get up, his unit had lost power, horror filled his thoughts as he realised that this is how it ends, a tear fell from his eye and he began to cry. "I don't... want.... to die..." sobbed Troy as he could hear the sound of metal being torn away getting closer to his cockpit.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Suddenly Assault Cannon fire hit the grappler BETA from above. Troy looks up and sees a de-stealth F22A Raptor with its AMWS-21. "Damn it Parker! Are you trying to get yourself killed here?" was heard over his comms.
Troy begins to wipe his tears and try to regain his composure.

Troy "This isn't like the simulation at all. This stupid TSF!"

Ria continues to fire into the enroaching Tank BETA and quickly descend to help Troy.

"Hunter 1, I'll need your help to move his TSF. We got to get him out asap."
Hunter 1 replies" Right away."

Ria provided cover fire as Hunter 1 lifted one side of Troy's TSF. Ria lifted the other.
Both took off back to headquarters to reassess why HQ didn't call for the order to retreat.
Their front line quickly fallen after they took off.

Troy looks down as the ground forces got overrun with BETA.

as Troy was being carried off, he noticed a white glint on the battlefield, behind it were other coloured glints, he then realized they were TSF's, "I thought they said there was no back up", the TSF's then charged into the hordes of BETA.

A white Takemikazuchi led the charge, They were not sent by central command but came on their on volition, the line was starting to crumble and any help to be offered would help, the mistake of the American's were their reliance on ranged combat, their Raptor's were hastily fitted with melee halberds and close combat knives yet they simply swing them around, they were different, they were Japanese.

"Izanami 1 engaging the targets!" said the white haired pilot of the white Takemikazuchi, she drew her Type-74 PB Blade, she clashed with the armoured forearm, she drew her Type-87 Assault Cannon and shot it multiple times, after bringing it down she swiped her melee halberd at the multiple tank class attempting to latch on to her unit, "Izanami 1, the U.N are preparing to bombard the line, fall back!" said a voice on her comms, she complied and signalled the other TSF's to fall back, moments later the line was lit by explosions and wreckage.

"You were crying like a baby back there Hunter 3" said Lambert as she carried two cups of water, she offered one to Troy, Troy accepted it and drank, 'the feeling of being about to die....' thought Troy, he nearly died back there, he sipped the water all while thinking how lucky he was, and how unlucky hunter 2 and 4 were, "you alright there kid?" asked a Familiar Voice, Troy turned to see Hunter 1, his squad captain Vincent Valentino, "I'm fine sir, a little shaken up but I'm fine",

"Well you better be, you might have to fight again soon"

said his Captain, Troy looked at the Battlefield and saw it being lit up by cannon fire "Why didn't they do that first?" asked Troy angrily, "We didn't know there were BETA, Besides , the brass maybe idiots but don't forget they're running the show" said his captain as he sat beside him, Troy gazed at the line till he saw a white Glint.

"Izanami 1, report back to the hangar at once, we need to run a diagnostics check on you" said the Voice in Yoko's cockpit, "Roger" replied the girl with a monotone voice, she hated having them run diagnostics checks on her but she had no choice, it was necessary to maintain her body, after all, she isn't human anymore....

A new ambassador from Russia flew in with her entourage. Her name is Petrie Stokov and she brought an elite esper squad led by Alisa Ilinichina Amiella. What is an esper you say? Mind readers with foresight. It was Monday morning when Troy was eating his meal in the cafeteria when he hears the announcement of the new squad and to be on everyone’s best behavior. He didn’t give it a second thought and continued with his breakfast. The Russian ambassador and her entourage were being escorted by Vincent Valentino and Ria Lambert. They were showing them around the base. Suddenly Troy felt a slight stinging sensation in his mind. He looked over at the entourage. The elite espers glanced towards him.

Alisa asked, ”Who is that boy over there?” Looking in the direction of Troy.

Vincent and Ria looked at each other puzzled. Vincent replied, “Troy Parker, ensign in my squad.”

Alisa came over with a few of her subordinates and introduced herself.
“Hello, Troy. I’m Alisa.”

Troy lost his composure. He regained his thoughts and replied with, “Well, hello there Alisa, I’m your knight in shining armor!”

“WHAT!?” she said. Her subordinates broke up in laughter.
She was so embarrassed. Ria face palmed herself. Vincent stood there looking disappointed. Petrie was unamused.
Petrie said, “Shall we continue on with our tour of the base captain?”

Troy has made a mockery of himself to beautiful Alisa and her squad mates.
Leaving the cafeteria, Alisa turned to her fellow esper and asked.
“Did you sense something odd about Troy?”
The other girl responded with, “Why, you got a thing for him already? You work quick Alisa!”
“No, not interested, but I sense he’s a latent.”
“There was something peculiar about him, but he’s one funny comedian.” The girl smirked.
Alisa unamused stepped on her foot.
“Oww!”

in the dark recesses of a hive, screams can be heard, it felt nothing but excruciating pain, the screams kept getting louder but nobody did anything, she was all alone....

"Diagnostic check complete" said a woman as Yoko stood up from the coffin like device, "you okay Yoko?" asked the man with a concerned look on his face, "Its nothing captain, just bad memories" replied Yoko, "Well inform me if you ever feel ill, you may return to your quarters, dismissed" said her captain as Yoko gave a salute and left.

"What a day" said the captain as he sat on his desk, Captain Toshiro Mifune was his name, he was Yoko's superior, handler, as well as her guardian, while most people treat her like she was a machine, he treated her like she was his own daughter, as soon as he took a seat there was a knock on the door, "come in" he replied, a woman came in, the woman from earlier who had performed the diagnostic check on Yoko and with her was a young white haired girl, she was Yuuko Kouziki and the white haired girl is Kasumi Yashiro, "what do you want now? I thought the diagnostic check was done?" said the Mifune, that's what Yuuko usually comes to see him for, "I can't come in just to say hi?" replied the Yuuko with a grin as she handed him an envelope, Mifune sighed, thinking it was another excuse to conduct tests on the poor girl, but as he opened it he saw it was orders from the top brass, they were to work alongside an experimental U.N squadron in testing a new weapon, Mifune sighed again as he knew Yuuko was planning something with them.....

On the runway of the base, a plane just landed carrying the members of the experimental squadron, a man stepped outside, he wore shades and had light brown hair, he wore a jacket with the words "Argos Squadron" on it, "admiring the view?" said a voice behind him, it was a woman, wearing a jacket just like his, she had brown hair and a piece of cloth tied on the left side, but what the man notices about her the most is her purple eyes, following her were others disembarking the plane...

Yuuya and Yui were unpacking in their room, the others were doing the same as well in their respective rooms, due to certain spacing problems they both got assigned the same room, not that they didn't mind, they had been growing closer to each other since they met each other again, "its been so long" said Yui as she sat on the bed, Yuuya looked at her and sat down next to her, "I promised that we'll make it through this lieutenant" said Yuuya as he hugged her, "stupid, still calling me that" said Yui as she blushed, their faces were close to each others that they could feel each others breaths, their faces were moving closer to each other, now they could feel each others lips, and then-

"Hey You two! Mind if I come in!" said a voice as their moment was ruined, it was a short dark skinned girl, who looked no more than her mid-teens, her name was Tarisa Manandal, and she had a look of embarrassment on her face, "whoops, didn't realize you two were this intimate already" said Tarisa as she left the two alone, Yui and Yuuya knew the moment was gone, they both returned to unpacking their belongings.

Yuuko looked at the details regarding the U.N squadron they were to work with, she grinned while Kasumi looked on, "Argos 1, Yuuya Bridges, Argos 2, Yui Takamura, this will be interesting" said Yuuko as she closed the file, on it were the words "Project Providence".

As the sun began to set and people finished their dinners, Troy began his walk back to his room. He thinks to himself.
"I'm stuffed! That babyback ribs, mash potatoes and gravy was great. Finished off with orange juice."

He sat at his desk and began doodling whatever was on his mind to pass the time. Strangely felt a stinging sensation in his head again.
"Ugh these headaches!" He gets out of his chair and goes to the restroom. He opens his medicine cabinet for some aspirin.

He walks out and sees a beautiful girl with silver long hair holding a cute brown teddy bear. Her uniform was of Russian origin, similar to Alisa from earlier today.
"Hey there beautiful! Are you squads mate of Alisa's?

She said, "No. You're all alone in this room?" She took a moment to look around his room. He has TSF figures in various poses on his bookshelf. His desk with his doodles on the table and his bed to the right of it. His dirty clothes was in his laundry hamper, a shirt and hoodie was still on his bed.

She eyed him. Wearing a black shirt with tan khakis.
"So what's your name miss mysterious?"

She responded with "I'm Inia Sestina." She instantly glared at his door. "You can come out now! You may fool him hiding your presence, but it won't work with me!"
His door creaked open.
There stood Alisa. She walked in and faced Inia. They are 3 meters apart.

She has a grim expression on her face. "So you are also an esper?"
Inia said, "You can't have him. Not for your recruitment!"
Inia and Alisa both raised their hands against the other and started a mind battle.
Alisa tried to invade Inia's mind, but her mind defenses was quite fortified. She saw the image of a couple with the name of Argos on their jackets.
Inia repelled her and threw her teddy bear Misha, and changed it into an enormous Grizzly Bear.
Alisa laughed and shown her trumped card. With a flick of her wrist, she threw the illusioned bear against the wall and it fell down helpless.
Inia knew she was in trouble.
Troy stood there watching those two dumbfounded. This is not how he pictured two cute girls fighting over him.
He draws his pistol and says. "Freeze!" Both girls had totally forgotten his presence in the room.
Inia runs out while Alisa chased but soon lost her.

Alisa walks back and tries to wipe Troy's mind of tonight's events.
He points his pistol at her.
"You do that and you find yourself with a bunch of holes."
She knew he was serious.
"Listen Troy, you may not know this, but you're a latent esper."
"****! I don't believe in your mumbo jumbo."
"If you want my silence, then explain to me who are you really? Why eavesdrop on my room? Who was Inia? What the hell just happened?
Start talking or else!"

A laser dot appeared on her head.
She explained that her being stationed here wasn't her only objective. She was recruiting possible candidates for Russia's Esper Program.

Yoko was taking a walk, she had difficulty sleeping, after all, what can you expect from an artificial body, as she walked the mostly empty base, a voice called out to her, "why are you out so late?" Yoko drew her side arm and pointed it to the voice, it was a young woman, about 21 years old, she had long white hair and innocent looking eyes, Yoko holstered her side arm after seeing she was unarmed, "forgive my actions, I thought you might have meant harm" apologized Yoko, the young woman smiled as she asked, "so what are you doing out so late?", "I couldn't get any sleep, walking around calms me down, what about you?" said Yoko, "I'm going to get my friend Misha" replied the young woman, Yoko felt uneasy about talking to someone like her, she had the innocence of a little girl yet Yoko felt a sort of danger underneath that, "you were sensing me right now weren't you?" asked the young woman, Yoko was stunned, before she could give a reply the siren rang,

"Attention all forces! An incoming horde of BETA has been detected moving this way! All TSF pilots report for take-off! I repeat! An incoming horde of BETA has been detected moving this way! All TSF pilots report for take-off!"

said an announcer on the speakers, Yoko turned her head to the speakers but when she turned to face the young woman, she was gone, "where did she-", however Yoko had no time for that, she ran as fast as she could to the Hangar to change into her Fortified Suit and get into her Type-00A.

As Yoko changed into her fortified suit, she recalled her first time fighting the BETA after receiving her new body...



three Gekishin were in the ruins of what used to be a city in Europe, they were surrounded by Tank class BETA, the lead Gekishin gave orders to open fire, the other two complied, the lead Gekishin had a pair of WS-16 Assault Cannons, the one on its left was equipped with a shoulder mounted minigun with a close quarter combat knife, and the one on its left had a Type-74 PB Blade Melee Halberd as well as a WS-16 Assault Cannon, however, the one with the Melee Halberd however dashed towards the swarms of Tank class, with each slash of its blade many Tank class fell in a sea of blood and organs, in mere moments the swarm was gone and the Gekishin leader and gunner pilots were at awe at the Gekishin with the Melee Halberd, the pilot of the Melee Halberd Gekishin then smiled then lunged at the other two Gekishin....

Yoko felt as if she just woke up from a bad dream, she then got back to changing into her fortified suit and left, unbeknownst to her, a monster lay inside of her....

The emergency announcement on the speakers startled everyone from their beds.
“Literally saved by the bell Alisa.” said Troy.
She rolls her eyes at him.
“Are you going to put down your handgun? The base needs to be defended from the BETA!”
Troy holstered his M9 Beretta. “We gotta get to our TSF’s but you shouldn’t be keeping so many secrets if we are allies.”
Alisa ignores him.
Both of them leave for the Hangar Bay.
She sensed his uneasiness to go back into combat.

The base is in a frantic mess. Ria and Vincent already changed into their pilot suits.
“Alright Argos squad. We repel the initial BETA wave while Alpha squadron provides us cover fire. We got a report that Laser class BETA are here, so we must destroy them! Move out!”

Laser class, Destroyer and Tank BETA class began approaching the base. It’s evening as the battle ensues. Argos and Alpha Squadron realized that any air combat would be useless with Laser class BETA out there. The two groups launched their TSF and pulled out their AMWS-21 Rifle and A-97 Assault Gun. Troy and Alisa join their squadron.

“This is going to be troublesome. We got Laser class this time.” He signals to the Golden Takemikazuchi.”
Both pilots draw their Type-74 PB Blade and charge head first going for the Laser class.”

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”

The Golden Takemikazuchi and F-22 Raptor make quick work of the Destroyers and Tanks. They both start carving a path through them approaching the Laser BETA.

With the TSF's being grounded, the onslaught of the attacks began wearing down the TSF due to prolong combat.

"This isn't good. We have nothing to counter the Laser BETA." Thoughts began running through Ria's head as she unload several bullets into Tanks and flanking Destroyers.

The BETA slowly surrounds the two squadrons. Without flight, their combat and evasion was somewhat limited.

Suddenly, a loud bang is heard far off into the distance. A Laser class falls. Another bang and another. The Laser BETA are literally dropping like flies! An unknown group of TSF's were sniping from 1700km southeast of their position.

A comm opens up on all frequencies. A female voice is heard. "Looks like you need help over there?" A young Chinese pilot with blond hair appears on their display. "I'm 1st Lt. Lin Kaifon from Chinese 144th Mobile unit. My squad will provide sniper support for your squads."

"DIE!" screamed Yoko as she slashed through a Tank-Class swarm, red ichor gushed out as they fell dead, she swung her Melee Halberd again, and slashed at another Tank-Class swarm, the swarms of Tank-class began to deteriorate.
"DIE!" screamed Yoko again as she kept on killing the swarms of Tank-Class, she however felt that it wasn't enough, more needed to die, her anger wasn't just against the BETA, but also against people, she felt betrayal for what had happened at the village during the fall of Kyoto, those TSF's slaughtered everyone and left her alive to the mercy of the BETA, the mercy the BETA showed her was full of days with nothing but pain and agony, a smile then appeared on her lips, "Die" was the only word in her head right now, to her it didn't matter, whether they were human or BETA.....

"Tarisa! Cover Yuuya so he can set up the railgun!" ordered Yui as Tarisa complied, Argos Squadron's objective was to set up the EML-99X Electromagnetic Induction Launcher to thin the swarms.
As Yui assisted in covering Yuuya she heard a call for help in her communications, "This is Izanami 4! We need backup! Pilot has gone rogue, I repeat, Pilot has gone rogue!", hearing this, Yui responded, "This is Argos 2! Mobilizing to provide assistance, Give me your location Izanami 4" said Yui as the Pilot gave her the coordinates, "Argos, give Yuuya some assistance, I have to go deal with a rogue pilot!" ordered Yui as she left the group, little did she know that she would be getting into a difficult fight....

Yui made it into the area where Izanami squadron was, a blue Takemikazuchi briefed her on what's going on, "one of our eishi started attacking us, normally we would eliminate her but she is crucial to the whole operation in taking the hive, Takamura-sama, please stop her" said the pilot of the blue Takemikazuchi, "Understood, I will disable her TSF" responded Yui as she flew off to face the rampaging Yoko.

As Yoko was about to finish off a critically damaged Takemikazuchi with her Melee Halberd, another Melee Halberd blocked hers, she turned to see a yellow Takemikazuchi, "DON'T INTERFERE!" screamed an angry Yoko as Yui skillfully dodged her swipe, Yui then swung her Melee Halberd at her foe's right arm, only for her to block it, slowly, both of them assume stances for one on one combat, Yoko was the first to attempt to deliver a blow, but it was immediately parried by Yui who then proceeded to counter but instead had her sword blocked.
Metal met metal with each strike as both pilots tried to get the upper hand, Yoko then jumped above Yui in order to land a hit, but Yui countered it with a Hirazuki upward thrust, Yoko Twisted her unit's waist to avoid the Melee halberd, "Nice reaction" said Yui, "But your finish is weak!" Yui revealed as she swung her sword to the left, catching Yoko off guard, Yui connected with a kick.
Yui then prepared by dropping into a partial crouch, bending her unit's knees, she drew her left arm back and extended her right forward forward; she grasps the kashira of her Type-74 PB Blade with her left hand and rests the tips of the fingers of her right hand on the blade near its tip, Yoko charged at her as Yui did the same, however, unlike Yoko who was fighting out of anger, Yui was using her head, as both unit's went past each other, Yoko's unit suddenly fell limp, it had lost it's sword arm, Yui was victorious, however, she then realized that there was another thing she had to do

"Yuuya!" yelled Yui on his comms as Yuuya reacted, "Use the Railgun now!" ordered Yui as Yuuya complied, Yuuya slowly took aim at the horde and whispered, "Sayonara" with that he fired the EML-99X Electromagnetic Induction Launcher, the entire horde was decimated by that weapon alone, even the Sniper's providing cover fire watched in awe at its power, the BETA threat has been neutralized, triumphant cheers were heard all over the base, even the rest of Argos Squadron was cheering, Yui nodded at Yuuya with a smile.

meanwhile, a wrecked Type-00A Takemikazuchi was left on the battlefield, a crew was sent to retrieve it along with its pilot, inside the cockpit, sobbing could be heard, "I'm not Human, I'm.... A monster" said Yoko as she continued to cry.

An office, in it sat a man with red hair behind a mahogany desk, he held a knife, and in front of him were two of his subordinates, "The Heretics are assaulting the final BETA hive on earth in Odessa" spoke the red haired man, "I want you both to put a stop to it, if you don't, we will never reach ascension" finished the red haired man as he threw the knife at a map on the wall, the target it hit had the words; "Odessa HQ".

"feeling better?" Asked Mifune as Yoko came out of a sarcophagus like device, "Better, and again I am sorry for what happened sir" replied Yoko, "Don't worry about it, the good thing was that nobody got killed" said Mifune, Yoko got permission to leave and proceeded to walk around the base, she couldn't stop thinking about those TSF's that attacked the Village she and Toshiya lived in, as she walked around the base, she stumbled on to an F-22A Raptor, it's pilot was a young man with white hair, he was talking to others, Yoko only looked at them from a distance in envy.

"status report" said the Pilot of a modified F-15 Eagle, it was painted black and red with its sensors being red as well, the pilot was a man who looked to be in his late twenties, "The base just fended off a BETA assault, they're much stronger than we anticipated" replied his partner, a woman, "it's because of that weapon, we need to find a way to stop them from using it." Said the man as he and his partner left the area, planning to come back when preparations have been made...

A transport from America was bound for Odessa, in it were reinforcements and equipment, however, one particular piece of equipment in it was a TSF with the words "YF-23 Black Widow II" written on it, on a large container next to it was a device with a symbol synonymous with things nuclear.

Yoko looked at the young man, he seemed happy, Yoko clenched her fists as she wondered; "why can't I be happy?", as she stared, a person suddenly approached her from behind, that person, was Ria Lambert.

the Transport ships from America arrived on schedule, bringing much needed reinforcements and equipment, Mifune who was watching commented on the new TSF's, "I have never seen these types before" he said to himself as they began unloading the black widow as well as a large metal container with a nuclear symbol on it, other TSF's include an A-10 Thunderbolt 2, a Mirage 2000, an EF-2000 Typhoon, and an armored Lavi.

Yoko jumped from that response and immediately turned around. “Who are you?”
“I’m 1st Flight Lt. Ria Lambert and you are?
“I’m Yoko Tsubasa.”

She grabs Yoko by the arm and starts dragging her towards Troy.

“Hey Troy, you got a brand new fan!”
Yoko is furious. “Are you stupid Lambert?”

“Don’t be shy Yoko. I can see you sulking over there by your lonesome.”
“Troy, this is Yoko Tsubasa.”

Troy extends his hand with a grin. “Hello there.”
Yoko awkwardly grasps his hand with both of hers and shook rapidly.

Ria and Troy gave each other a strange look.

“So Yoko, have you been on this base long?”
“I was just stationed here.”

Lin Kaifon gets out of her TSF and eavesdrops on the group.

“So which squadron are you from Yoko?”
“I’m from Izanami squadron.”
“Well, I don’t know anyone from that squad.”
“Are you doing anything tomorrow Yoko?”

Yoko was quiet. Ria elbowed Troy and murmured. “Moving a little fast aren’t you eager boy?”
Lin interjected. “I got nothing planned.”
“Actually I was hoping for ideas, haha!”
“As a date?”
“Sure.”
Lin was going to pull the wool over Troy’s eyes.

“How about this? Want to take some classes practicing Jeet Kun Do? My instructor S.S. is also here and I can show you the ropes. You’re all invited to come to class 106 at 2pm tomorrow in the Recreational Fitness Hall.”
Ria thought to herself. I like this girl!
“I’ll be there”, said Troy.
“I got nothing else planned, why not.” said Ria.
Yoko nodded.

It’s not required to bring your own Gi, but it’s recommended for the class. At least wear something comfortable because all of you will be sweating a lot. It also focuses on combat realism so be prepared to spar.

Lin gave an enormous grin.

The next day when class started all 3 showed up in t-shirts and sweat pants. A tall, slender man was in the class with short brown curly hair. The three had already signed up for a week.
“Hello, class. I’m master S.S. and we have 3 new students today. As you know, we’ll be focusing on combat realism, so don’t be discouraged if you perform poorly.”

“This is my assistant Lin. She’ll be helping me out to make sure your technique is good.”

“Get in your forward stance.” He demonstrates by slightly bending his knees with his right foot in the lead. He does the same with his arms with his palms wide open. “Keep your hands up to the jaw line. Have your arms bent and don’t show off your full reach to your opponent just yet. Now I’ll just show you a straight punch. Lin, you’ll be my target.”
He does a standard straight punch. So this is my reach right? He demonstrates that it connects to her face. Ok, Lin stand back a foot. She does.
Now I’ll do it again. He does a straight punch but comes up short.
"I’m a little short right."
He demonstrates another straight punch, but twists his body to extend his reach. It connects.
“Do you see by turning your body, it extends your reach?”
Now I’ll count to 100 and give me a straight punch up to 100.
After everyone did 100 punches. Alright, time to spar, but only with punches. No kicks.
S.S. has chosen the partners. Whoever hits first gets a point. The first one to get 3 points wins.
Yoko was paired up with Troy. Lin with Ria.

Yoko’s speed on her punches connect to Troy’s face. Point. She did it effortlessly. Point again.
“Damnit it! I gotta at least be able to just hit her once!”
Troy decided to dance around and wait for an opportunity. Yoko turned to face Troy so he doesn’t get behind her. She throws a punch. He dodges left and counters with his left hand. Point for Troy. Yoko became more careful and decided to do a combination of punches. She threw the first punch quickly followed by the second punch. Both connected.
Lin sparring with Ria was uneventful. She landed all three punches on her easily.
“Sorry Ria, but I can’t take it easy on you even if you just started. I would get soft if I did.”

“If you keep beating me this badly, I might just not sure up anymore!”
“Oh come on! You’ll get better with practice.”

Alright class is over. Everyone began chatting.
“So want to get a drink after this at the bar?” said Troy.
“Sounds like a plan”, said Ria. “You two want to come along?”
Lin and Yoko both agreed to go.

"And that'sh my shtory..." said a drunk Ria, Lin chuckled at her drunken state while Yoko looked at her with worry,"Miss lambert, that was your eighth bottle, are you sure you're okay?" asked Yoko as Ria replied with a slurred "yesh", Troy was happily eating a steak while Lin seemed to be doing fine in holding her liquor, "Sho wat aboud yu Yowkow? How deed yu end op eer in da frontlines?" asked an Ria apparently drunk, "I'm here on a mission for the Empire, now if you excuse me, I must go" said Yoko no longer wanting any part of it, Yoko gave Troy a glare, Troy stared back, dumbfounded with steak still in his mouth, Yoko then opened her mouth to say "you're a good person, troy parker", with that she left the group.

As Yoko stepped out of the bar she was suddenly dragged to an alley, the ones restraining her had white hair, as did the one in front of her, apparently their leader, who Yoko recognized as the soviet esper Alisa, "release her" said Alisa as they complied, "So, you think you can move in on our prey huh?" asked their leader as she delivered a kick into Yoko's abdomen, "think you can take him away from us? You western whore!" said Alisa as she kicked Yoko again, she was followed by her subordinates who proceeded to kick Yoko as well, even though her body was artificial, Yoko can still feel the pain, "we'll show you what happens when you mess with the Lyutaya" said Alisa as she pulled out a knife, "let's see what kind of blood you will bleed", Alisa pressed it against Yoko's throat but before she could slit it, a rock hit her on the shoulder, "GET AWAY FROM HER!" shouted Troy as he threw another rock, Alisa signaled for her subordinates to retreat, she was also going to retreat, but threatened Yoko, "Parker belongs to us", with that, she ran off, Troy helped Yoko up, "like I said parker, you're a good person" then she collapsed.
