So far you don't have to be a Vita owner.
A few people says it works in Canada and you don't have to be a ps+ member.
Registration date doesn't matter when you got your ps3.
I barely bought anything, so the $150 threshold is bogus.
It kinda seems random.

Anyways, there's no "catch" in this or some "fine print" about the money...it really is free PSN money for you to use anyway you feel like. It's not entirely random though, as i'm sure this is related to the PS4's official annoucement in a few hours. Like giving you stuff to commemorate the annoucement, and make the PS3 users somewhat happy so that there are more positive comments later about the new console, and hoping they keep supporting Sony by buying the PS4 sometime later and thus giving Sony more money, essentially balancing out this money giveaway. (And even if it's not really balanced out, any "losses" can be equivalent to money invested in merchandising/propaganda for the PS4, so there's no real loss anyways).

I seen people get $5 or $10 but you have to spent some money on the account and not everyone gets one. Take your brother's promo code and redeem it on your account. muahuahuaha.
I checked my brother and sister's account. They bought nothing and no free credit in either of their inboxes. Oh well.

Looks like Sony is still handing out free $10 with it expiring on the 25th. I got nothing in my inbox. Ain't mad since I got $10 free last month, but another $10 would be nice.
