Your Gaming Wishlist

While this can also be a thread about games that are out or coming out, I'm intending it to be about what you want in gaming. Anything from additional characters or different stories in current games, or complete overhauls!

What I'd like to see is an Elder Scrolls like Zelda game. Obviously, we have the technology to do it. They could still keep the overall Zelda feel by keeping in the same (although adding more) characters, the protagonist could still be Link, the main story could still be Link saving Zelda/Hyrule. But what I want most is interactions with other characters, an expanse field and various towns to explore, random caves and lots of sidequests. Each major city could also have its own temple, whether its hidden or something out in the open, that Link would still have to go through and solve puzzles for. Motion controls and battle system similar to Skyward Sword would be a plus.

I'd also like to see a Pokemon game with either: A) a battle system like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If they do this, I'd be alright with them leaving the rest of the gameplay the way it is (top down, random battles in the grass.) OR, I'd like them to make it Final Fantasy 12 style:
[WARNING: THE PC I'M ON RIGHT NOW DOESN'T HAVE ANY SOUND. IF THERE'S ANY PROFANITY IN THIS (I doubt there will be) I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE]

I'd also like the ability to battle NPCs again whenever the player wishes, or to at least have a chance to have another battle when speaking to an NPC (I'm tired of waiting for an NPC to call and want a battle, and then having to go out looking for that specific one)
(I guess I could always just get Ni No Kuni, which is basically what I want in a pokemon game, but I'd still like it to be pokemon, you know? xD)

Last, but not least, I want a .hack MMO that comes to America. I never got to play Fragment, but I wanted it more than anything the first time I heard of it... unfortunately for me, I was 16 and living in the US with no job and no personal income, so that never became even close to a reality.

+ I desperately want a true sequel to Pokemon Snap. There was just something so magical about that game. A Rez reboot would be neat too- especially if it had more story and level variety. A Digimon game that is very dark, philosophical, and has a sweeping epic narrative is still after all these years in order- it'd be pretty easy to pull together, if ya ask me.

+ A weird .hack/Harvest Moon action packed dating simulator thing. In said title, you play as a Grunty rancher by the name of Kite who must protect his farm from Data Bugs that have swarmed in from the corrupted forest next door to your quiet little Root Town. Within your humble and once peaceful Root Town, are many eligible individuals from various classes lookin' for digital love. It is up to you to save the Root Town within three years, become a prosperous Grunty farmer, and propose to one (or two) people with the Blue Feather- err...I mean the Blue Member Address, and have them join you in your quest for awesomeness. Not even kidding- I genuinely feel this game would benefit mankind.
If I can't have a .hackXHarvestMoon crossover then can I have a .hackXApeEscape one? I wanna play as Haseo, equipped with the light sabre-esque Stun Gun and Net weapons, and chase down and capture both Aida and the Azure Knights....and anyone else who stands in my way of adventure. I want Aura to go power crazy like Specter via a Pipo Helment...just because. All .hack characters are in their GIFT!Forms in said title.
I'd settle for a regular .hack game, but as a platformer as opposed to a straight up RPG. I NEED TO JUMP OVER STUFF AND PEOPLE. It'd be cool if it was a 2D sidescroller as well.

+ The fact that I still don't own the original Klonoa or any of the Tales series makes my eye twitch. So yeah, those need to materialize on my bookshelf right now. Speaking of which, a new Klonoa game would be neat.

+ In the Kingdom Hearts series, I really want Sora to age...and not just by like..two years. I want him in his mid twenties at the earliest. Also, he needs some real character development in terms of personality- he's been through so much but hasn't really changed at all. He can still be light-hearted and fun- I'm not asking for him to turn into a villain or anything (that WOULD be cool) but yeah...a little character development.

Gotta agree on that kingdom hearts stuff. Sora doesn't age enough, and his personality never seems to mature. I don't think pushing him into his twenties would be good though, but they should make it feel like he's aged at least another year and a half since KH2's end by the time KH3 rolls around. They could even have his birthday as the start of the game. Either with a nice reunion of friends, or as a sad "I'm alone on my birthday" sequence with him sulking about how his ties to his friends have frayed.

I was thinking about this last night, but I really want more MMOs to implement player housing. Even better, contested player housing-
The player or group of players who own the home or even town if it gets that expansive, would have to set up defenses and coordinate guard shifts to protect their homes from being taken by opposing players.

I guess sort of? I've never played Age of Empires, but it looks like a strategy game. I meant more for MMORPGs, so singular players can actually own a house that they live in, and then defend it using their own skills and abilities, not using units that they make (unless they're some sort of summoner.)
