Hi everyone,

so it seems that CyberConnect2 is developing a new Smartphone game currently titled NIGHT RUNNER.

It looks pretty interesting despite limited information. I translated the website for it, so you can make up your mind.

Synopsis:

The Day is fleeing. The Night is rebelling.

NIGHT RUNNER

People live on the Earth between Heaven and Hell.
The Heavenly Paradise together with the coming of the end approaches Earth, and if the small birds fly a little, they may arrive intact.

Hell emerged from the abyss, and people caught a glimpse of the visage in several places across the world.
Humans and God, or perhaps the Devil, are very close to the world.
Antagonizing the power of God and Magic, the light does not extand into the night, and the Devil's followers creep across the Earth.


At the same time, God, or perhaps children bearing the power of magic were born from among the people.
Those born did not get to choose their own destiny.
From the time they came into the world, God, or perhaps the children were the only people that could carry the burden of Magic.


His followers reside in the night.
The fugitives of the daytime who turned away from the light.

Anyways, that description seems interesting, and i would like to know how the game will be like :3 All we can see so far is that it'll be an "action" game, but that doesn't really describe the gameplay much. lol
I'd also love to play it, assuming i have a nice, modern cellphone by that time XD lol

Speaking of which, what happened to Guilty Dragon's localization? I know it was confirmed and all, but i haven't heard any other news about it so far D:

Right then. Shadow Escaper is now available for I phone. It made me laugh. The content and the character speak for themselves.
(I think that's the CV for Black Rose)

Kind of interesting that they localized their own game. I guess it makes sense that the voiceactress's English is good, following David and Eleanor. Doesn't look like she's in the credits, though.

So THAT'S how the game is really like o3o
...It seems much less entertaining than i'd have expected u3u
Basicly running endlessly while avoiding enemies and obstacles, poking around the screen for stuff, and after running for long enough you get to do something fun.
It reminds me to Falling Fred .-. Which can be an entertaining game when you're just sitting in boredom with nothing else you could possibly do, but definetly would expect more after a game like Guilty Dragon.

Anyways, i might still play it if my cellphone allows it...which i doubt it given that it demands a pretty advanced iOS version D8 I imagine it'll be only avaliable for Android 4.0+.

In my opinion it's more of a game than Guilty Dragon. Guilty Dragon is basically the same as any other "get to the end of the track" social game from Japan. At least this one has gameplay, although it's hard to be sure how well done it is without actually playing it. But what I do know for sure is that all you need is run, slide, and jump to make an amazing game:

I just downloaded it and gave it a try and well I'm running it off an ipod touch 4th so it's really laggy and slow, but it's really entertaining. Only complaint I have are the tilt controls it uses, but again I'm chalking that up to me not running this on an iPhone5 like it's optimized for.

Wish I had something to try it out on, but going from the trailer, it looks amazing Would love to try it out some time ^^

Hmmm looks good, maybe i can get to play it since I'll buy a Galaxy Ace 2(Don't know if it can support it though). I hope i can play it since it reminds me of(i think someone said it earlier) Pepsi man, but with more stuff! Waiting for new phone and hoping for it to be playable on Ace 2
