It was a Flash cartoon made around 2004-ish. Homestar Runner was popular around the same time, albeit it was created before.

Salad fingers is like something out of a tim buton movie. But its more creepy and more bloody.

Watched it last night. Eh, I don't get why people relate every creepy thing to Tim Burton when I've seen people make more creepier things.

Did you like it? I personally couldn't get into it a couple years ago. Just kind of bored me.

Tim Burton at this point is just, well, Tim Burton- he's done so much of the same stuff in the past couple of years that he's practically become a trope if not a genre of his own. It's too bad. Straying from topic but the Beetlejuice cartoon had some neat animation.

I couldn't really get into it either. Normally I love psychological and mental illness type stuff but the rust orgasms just made me not want to watch it.

He likes the feel of rust because of the iron which makes it similar to blood. Saying that rust is orgasmic is like saying blood is orgasmic but rust is second best. That's why he had that whole lala land fantasy thing when his finger got jabbed on the nail and started bleeding.
