So, Recently i finished this anime. If you like Mystery/horror, then this is a good one to watch. (not to mention the poster girl for Yandere came from this show....>>;; )

So, twelve people are given the ability to have a "Future Diary", and they differ for each person. "First" is Yukiteru Amano. His diary is the "Random Diary". It tells him everything that goes on around him, but it doesnt say what happens to /him/. "Second" is Yuno Gasai. Her diary is the "Yukiteru Diary". So anything Yukiteru does, or anything that will happen to him, she'll be able to foresee, and prevent from happening if need be. The story revolves around these two, however, diary holders are a part of a game to become "god". Therefore only one person can be the winner.

Nice choice. I watched a piece of the last episode before starting the series by mistake. However the anime is a great story. I love how Yuno's voice actor gives me the shivers. Do you read the manga?

I'm a big fan of ninth. Maybe because she's just that cool...

Anyways, I've read some of Mirai Nikki. I mostly watched the anime.

Yeah, i watched the anime first, and if i happen to find a volume of Mirai Nikki for sale, i'll buy it. I've read it, so i figured "hey, why not collect it when i can?" With Tokyopop out though...it might be a bit difficult...

Frankly speaking, Mirai Nikki looks like The Hunger Games. Just look: city is an arena, 12 people are tributes(but in the hunger games there were 24 tributes if I'm not mistaken as I read it 100 years ago xD ), only one winner. And, by the way, we see (umm....unhappy? yes) lovers .=.
Another words, Mirai Nikki looks like te hunger games, but without future diaries. But, anyway, I love this anime)

A battle of wits and a touch of romance? Sounds like my next stop for anime goodness! Thank you!

The anime does alright at covering the important parts of the story. However, there is a slight issue with the ending of the anime. They don't extend it to show the manga ending.

I've Been on the fence about this anime only cause I didn't want them to like change up the important things since I thought the manga was terrific

is their a Dub? And if so is it good conveying the characters.

the anime is pretty much exactly the same as the manga minus the manga's epilogue, so according to everyone who saw it it's arguably better than the manga.

I read the manga. Haven't seen the whole anime... But people told me that in the anime Yuuno  Cuts Akise's neck veins or something, instead of cutting his whole head but that's only something that I heard... is it true?

I honestly can't remember. I just know it's generally considered to be a very faithful adaptation with well animated action sequences, hence why it's worth watching.
