First .hack drawing-need advice

hey guys,
this is like my first drawing from the world of .hack. it's mireille/mistral.

i ate the rest of her body. lmao. yea, i kno it looks a little tacky, but hey, i'm a first time artist. anyways can u all post tips or maybe a website where i can learn how to draw characters from .hack good? if the board doesn't allow it then PM me the websites on how to draw .hack.
go ahead and post ur opinions here.

okay now truthfully ihave no room to talk because your drawing is much much better then what i could do, but as a comment to make it even better the neck... it looks wrong to thin at the bottom, and if you were meaning to put her collar on her that could be better defined instead oflooking like one side collar the other neck

but other than that it looks really good, and I'm just trying to help you make it better ignore it completley if you wish just trying to help

It's a great start. You're very talented. Now you need you give her a body and a backround. The backround doesn't have to be fancy, but a character on a blank sheet is kind of... well... boring.
