Okay, so do we have an official character roster? If not post here who you would like to see in the game. (Even if we do have some kind of confirmed roster still post who you would like to see.) Personally, I would like to see some of the lesser party members from the first four games be available.

So far all we know is Kite (Sora) and Haseo are playable, and "9" (Tokio) is at least a boss. Sora's friends and Skeith appear as assists.

The party member lineup for .hack//Link would be nice, but I don't know how much space all of those characters will take up. Beyond that it's more personal choices than anything else.

Elk & Mia - as interchangeable fighter and assist characters. Chances are Elk's newer character Endrance will be available, and Mia can be either a girl or boy depending on what they decide to make her at this point in the series. I really just want to see these two back together in the finale.
Piros - (1st, 3rd, or a potential 4th) definitely as he is the alter ego of Matsuyama.
Hiiragi - because no other character is weirder than he is in my opinion. Anyone from Moon tree besides Sakaki, who would probably be available anyway, would be appreciated.
Natsume - the bipolar version from G.U.
Kamui - maybe as an alternative outfit for Albireo
Beyond that I'm kind of drawing a blank because I like too many characters from this series, but not many of them would be ideal fighters in my opinion.

Oh wait put Crim and Sora, though I know Haseo is technically Sora, in there and this game will be awesome.

Klarinette would be cool. In fact most of Schicksal would be interesting, the boss battles with them were the best thing about Link's gameplay.

I hope theres 3 super extremely hard character to unlock. But the game tells you how to get them. Then they end up being Piros' three characters.

If Sora were featured in the game, I can picture Moonstone being an alternate costume for him.
I'd really like to see some of the R1 characters make an appearance, hell let's have Kazu appear.

I always wanted to play as Tsukasa. I mean directly, not just having him in the team.

Edit: Just saw the posts in the other thread now. Seems to be prety interesting although I wasn't/am too impressed by knowing the new game beeing a beat 'em up. But I am curious now.
I also really want to know the story about it and what the unlockable short-movie is about. About the wish characters: Besides Tsukasa and Ovan I would like to be able to play characters
like the less important A.I.s from the novels. But let's wait and see.

Since there's no IMOQ characters announced, I wanna see someone from that era announced next. Blackrose was cut from GU, so I hope she gets another chance here. Ouka and Yata would make for refreshing gameplay styles and Piroshi is obviously a shoe-in.
