Well it seem there is a three season game in the works from CC that is being developed and launched after .hack//The Movie is completed. Keep your eyes open.

It's the third time CC2 has revealed this in about two months... accidentally. But this seems like it is finally official!

I was a little bit worried because of what they said about the designs, but this "Haseo" looks good. Different, but good enough!

It was the right move to go back to Haseo. That was the only game series where the actual gameplay was very compelling. Here's hoping he has six new forms.

I dunno...Most of the main hero's in the .Hack// games have always just sucked in my books. I always loved the additional characters. Like, Blackrose, Balmung, Silabus, Gaspard, and Endrance. Hell i could even throw zelkova in there

Because there are a bazillion Kite clones and Haseo hasn't gotten enough love?

I, for one, am not complaining about this. If it's for PS3, I'll have another excuse to have gotten one

It's weird, though, because to me that was always Kite's thing. He was a random dude given the power to save the world, and so it makes sense that other people would don the same mantle. He's like the Green Lantern of .hack. Haseo, on the other hand, had his own thing. One person growing and changing with a multitude of forms and motivations. For lack of a better analogy, he's the Frieza of .hack. So If I was making this this would actually be Haseo, but just looking at his expression I think it's a new "badass" character happy to take on the role.

All I thought when I saw that picture was Dun Lorieg. And now Haseo in a fighting stance. Terrible .hack ultimate hacker fighter?

I would bet on the new "haseo" either being a different player who just likes killing people or some kind of AI thing. I think he's the next Tri-Edge type dude and the main character will be someone else

So...this is gonna be stand-alone game, right? I mean, this isn't some bonus for .hack//The Movie disc? I hope so, beacause I'm really excited about this news .
But I wonder... Is this game going to get localization anyway? Everyone knows how things looks with .hack//Link's localization. I hope that Namco Bandai didn't gave up on western .hack fans! And eventually we will se new .hack in english

God no. Though an HD Collection of Project .Hack would be more favorable. But that's just me.

Not to play my not so hit record, but with Haseo there I can't possibly see this game meeting any type of expectations for me. And I know how close minded that is based on just those shots of a Haseo PC, but that is honestly my thought process right now. Then again, every .hack thing I've been really excited for after R1 has disappointed me, where as tings like ridiculous looking Tokio, and goofy looking Sayuka I ended up enjoying or loving. Well, Hermit met most expectations.

Everyone start insulting the game so it can't possibly turn out worse than we think.
