Basing this one off my table-top version of R:2, so bear with me as I put together this stuff back into board format.

I'm going to be posting up the story, class rules, and whatnot here shortly, but I thought I'd put up a petition for players now. Be noted that this one has one nutcase of plot, and those who remember .hack//CROSS and .hack//Sanction should be very familiar with what's going on here.

I know I can kind of convoluted, but just to clarify what the name means it's a numeric anagram for New Saviors For Twilight's Origin (Chapter:Terminal 1)

Class: Heavy Blade

Background from R:1 The character Aether has been known around the servers as a loaner who goes solo on all his quests. He rarely shows up at events unless, rare items he needs are a prize. He is known as one of the strongest Heavy Blades in the servers. Aether is also a hacker and managed to keep all his Heavy Blade data for the World R2 not wanting to start over as an Edge Punisher.
Personality: Aether is quiet never saying a think to anyone unless it is needed. However, he secretly wishes to find friends in the game to quest with, but because he so quiet and skilled everyone thinks he is mean and stuck up.
Quirks: He's so soft spoken that people have trouble understanding him, very bad communication skills.

Personality: Most people have two personalities. One to yourself, and one for others. Miharu has one for others, an one he hides from himself. Due to this the one for others doubles as the one to himself.
Quirks:He's apathatic about everything, and everyone. He hardly forms parties, but he is a more than capable player.

Background from R:1- Soma played a long arm that did more solo quests than group efforts. Though not well known, there was a small following that she had back when she played. They became her friends and she does maintain contact with them, only as friends, not as best friends.
Personality: Soma is rather quiet in the sense she doesn't have much to say when fighting. When not fighting she tends to be clumsy and often talks to herself. In real life she often has to be serious all the time, so the world is a way to keep herself from falling into the trap of a working life.
Quirks: Soma tends to be afraid to do big quests with others and will often go solo instead. She will often do this by running away at a fast pace.

Background from R:1 - Originally a normal player, who eventually came to work for CC Corp as a moderator,
Nadakai (Last name unknown) was an average, everyday person with a penchant for mysteries and computer
works. However, when deciding to uncover the mysteries behind the .hackers, CC Corp attempted to shut
his operation down and he went into hiding, retreating from the internet until he could uncover enough
data in the real world in order to shed the truth of CC Corp's operations. Upon coming up with the
information about Morganna Mode Gone and the idea of re-creating the same scenario using Jyoutaro Amagi's
R.A. Project, he vowed to uncover the absolute secrets of The World's black box, and is trying to amass
enough skilled and knowledgeable players before the popularity of the game spikes again, which would
allow CC Corp to move unchecked throughout their "diabolical" schemes.
Personality: Very well spoken and generally friendly, although can seem a bit aloof at times. Has a
tendancy to use charismatic speeches with cryptic undertones as his primary method of attaining
member addresses.
Quirks: Very cryptic in his actions and methods, although will divulge information if asked, will
tend to avoid touching on the core of the issue.

The World...

Since the fire, CC Corp had finally put up their brand new game The World {R:2}. With a new fantastical steampunk-esque setting and new systems to make the game more engaging and exciting than ever before! Welcome to the New World, may your journey be one of wonder!

Flash Forward 1 month -----------------------------------------------

The game seems to have taken off in a likeness of its own, however, the numbers aren't as large as CC Corp would have hoped. At this point there is still plenty of availability for improvement as players trek off into their own adventures.

Queue to one of the first guilds: Seal

While only one of the members is actually active in the guild, the Guildmaster Qin'Es, there were two others that signed the guild charter. They have not been seen online in the last week or so.

Qin'Es was last seen two days ago in a field on the Δ server. He did not return from the field.

He was last seen carrying a black and white spear with a bluish glowing edge.

Please locate this player if you can, the field keywords are Δ Gleaming Wild's Forest

Aether ported to the forest field and searched to for something to do. After some minor inventory checks he walked into the heart of the forest. He heard a crashing in the trees and players running away. Then he spotted something that he hadn't seen since the R1 days, a Drygon.
Aether was shocked not only was this monster in the wrong server, but it was at way to high a level for this field. "Something must be on the glitch, or maybe a hacker is involved...", whispered Aether. The Heavy Blade did some hacking himself but never to cheat or endanger other characters. Aether chuckled as he reached for the blade on his back as he charged the Drygon and called out, "Juka Maxima!"
The Heavy Blade launched his Wood elemental attack and it made a dent, but the Drygon was just getting warmed up as it launched a lightning attack that hit Aether and knocked him on his feet. "Ah, it's times like this you wish you were in a party!", he shouted.

Miharu stood behind the Drygon and Watched the two fumble around and try to fight it. Miharu had set his sights on it the moment it appeared, unfortunately another character had reached it first, and Miharu wasn't one to jump into another's party, whatever the reason. Once he saw the other PC join he gave up any chance of even touching the beast. But Voyuerism wasn't something he cared for. Miharu turned, and walked away.

From a bridge across from the lake nearby where the Drygon had spawned, and where the characters that had come across it were located, Qin'Es watched as the battle began to unfold. His eyes seemed dead as he peered across the water, catching a glimpse of Miharu walking off from the locale. He peered behind him at the beast temple looming its shadow above him, and turned to face it.

"Hmph, so they begin their search. I may only hope they can pass this test and move forward. That monster is only the beginning of the horrors that have already begun to rise here in The World. And so here I would hope that it wouldn't start until much later. Perhaps they've already sensed the presence of an antagonist."

He then walked towards the beast temple, tapping his spear on the door, causing it to open, without the need for the symbol fragments. Walking through the door, it closed behind him, then continuing down into the temple, which seemed much deeper than it should have been.

"Welcome to The World my friends, let us only hope it doesn't swallow you whole, as it already has me."

With a grimoire in front of her, Soma hesitated a little at doing anything more than the others were doing. Should she help them out? It wasn't like they couldn't work together. Still, she'd have to face the thing on her own in order to make it a solo quest. Taking a deep breath, she checked her spells and activated a spell. "Dek vorv!" She spoke, her body remaining rigid. If she kept that stance, she'd easily be able to dodge. "Dek Corma!" That should be enough to help take down the creature.

Aether turned to the strange Adept Rouge and held out his sword, "This is from the R1 days... A Calamity Blade that I modded to have the techniques of a Death Bringer, Hayabusa Katana, and a Sohgasho Katana... That way I can use all my class attacks without changing weapons... Not really cheating just a nice mod... ". With that said the Heavy Blade rushed and and launched his strongest Earth elemental technique, sure to finish the beast, "Gohrai!", he screamed as the Calamity Blade changed shape into a Sohgasho Katana.
The Earth based attack devoured the monster into a dust cloud of data. The blade went back from being a Sohgasho Katana to it's original Calamity Blade form. He turned to the Adept Rouge and said, "I'm not an Edge Punisher you see... My name is Aether... I'm the World's last Heavy Blade..."

Miharu had waited too long, He was spotted once the dust had cleared. Right behind were the Drygon had been fighting them, in a relaxed position, with no indication he even drew his weapon. He wondered what they would have thought, seeing him and not even realizing him before, them noticing he hadn't drawn his weapon to stave off the beast as the others had. But then the image bored him so he began to leave, once again.

Qin'Es began to venture further into the Beast Temple, all the while the area seemed to morph and twist around him, transforming from a standard treasure room, and spagettified into a longer, more sinister hallway, arcing around the corner, leading deeper into some mysterious dungeon. He stood at the entrance way into this catacomb, peering down the seemingly infinite passage.

"If this is the door to twilight, then I suppose that She is showing me the way." he spoke to himself, possibly to some unseen audience.

He began to venture into the strange dungeon, the passageway remaining open behind him, much like the Drygon left in his wake as well as the several other "modified" monsters that appeared before him when he entered this area.
