Shooting Star

“I don’t trust you. Not yet, for now, you can call me… ‘Hero’.
You know that thing they say about shooting stars and stuff? Well it is somewhat true. However, me just saying that don’t do much does it? I’ll tell you my story, whether you believe it or even like it doesn’t matter to me. So it all started back on November 8th, 2006…”
Hero sat in a park bench, smoking his last cigarette when he looked up and saw the rare natural phenomenon known as a shooting star. ‘Make a wish eh?’ “That’s the general idea.” Hero turned to face a young man. “So, I’m here to grant your wish.” “I never said I wanted one.” “You thought about it, and that’s good enough.” “Who are you?” “Hmmm that’s a good question. Call me… D, like the letter.” Hero shrugged his shoulders and turned back to the sky. “So what’s your wish champ? Anything you like.” Hero didn’t respond, so D decided to sit beside him on the bench. “Let me remind you, this is a once in a lifetime-” “Opportunity. I get it, and that’s really cool, but someone else would do much better.” D nodded as he grasped his chin. “You’re not the talkative type are you?” “Nope.” D pulled up a knee to his chest. “I can’t do that, this wish is yours.” “What’ll it cost me.” D stared at Hero questioningly, and nodded, “Smart boy, all it will, cost is your soul. Once you die of course.” Hero puffed the cigarette and said nothing. “But you could get any wish. Except more wishes.” Hero remained silent.
“What if I say I don’t want a wish?” D nodded once more and dropped his leg, “The rules say I have to leave you, but who doesn’t want a wish?” “People who are attached to their souls.” D pushed himself off the bench and sighed, “Fine, I get it, I’m going.” “An exciting life.” “Pardon?” “My wish. I wish that I had an exciting life, filled with monsters to kill, and people to fight.” “Oh ho ho! That’s something I’ve never heard before!” D sat down on the floor facing Hero. “Listen up, that wish is a little bit on the heavy end, since monsters don’t exist-” “I don’t like liars.” Hero stood up, threw the cigarette on the floor and stomped on it. “I didn’t say I couldn’t do it champ, I only said it was hard. I’ll grant you your wish, but it’ll take… five years.” “Five years?” “No one promised instant results. So is it a deal?” D’s eyes flickered red for a moment as he stood and then extended his hand. Hero grabbed it and D pulled something out of his pocket. “I’ll add something, here.” D handed Hero what seemed to be a match, although it seemed as though it were already lit once before. “This is what we call a Will o’ the Wisp.” The match lit up completely with an amethyst flame, which burned quite brightly. “Once I give it to you, it will only light for you. In addition, it will light up whenever you wish and never burn you. I know it’s not much, but it may come in handy.” Hero shrugged and took the match, which, even though the match burned brightly, felt like nothing.
“That’s not it though, because then I met someone else who got their wish granted, and she calls herself ‘Puppeteer’. Don’t trust her, especially if you’re a man. This took place June 29th, 2010.”
Hero stumbled off the bus into the town of Hermlinville. He was the only one off the bus, but that was not the strangest part. The town seemed to be inhabited solely by men. Hero shrugged it off and approached the closest convenience store in search of cigarettes.
“And that, and that… ooh, I want that too!” “Yes, of course.” A woman with red hair was sitting on a chair, which was being lifted by four men, and was pointing objects out to a young man pushing a shopping cart. Hero chose to ignore it and walked up to the man at counter. “Two Parliaments.” The woman turned to face Hero. “You! What do you think you’re doing?” Hero ignored her but the clerk did not. “I’m selling this man cigarettes.” Hero turned to meet the cold glared of the woman. Her eyes were unique, but Hero couldn’t care less. “No, not you, the boy!” Hero just met her gaze. “You, boy tell me what you’re doing.” Hero turned around to face the clerk. “Here’s my money, I’ll need three.” The woman screamed loudly, and commanded her followers “Get me down from here!” The men lowered the chair and helped her down, and the clerk stood frozen in fear. “Grab him!” The woman called as her men charged at Hero. Hero jumped behind the counter, only to be apprehended by the clerk. ‘This sucks.’
Only moments later Hero was dragged into the streets and he was before the woman on his knees, but only due to the men holding him down. The woman grabbed hold of his chin and looked directly into Hero’s face. “Boy, tell me your name.” Hero sighed, “All I wanted was some smokes.” She slapped him across the face as hard as she could, leaving a red imprint of her hand. “Why don’t you do as I say?” Hero now chose to remain silent. “Obey me! Tell me your name.” “Parliaments.” The woman screamed and let go of his chin. “Remove him from my sight!”
Hero was in a cell in the county prison, which was inhabited by the town’s women. It was there that he learned that the woman had gained control of the men in the town, and they obeyed her faithfully. They never questioned her, and even placed their own wives, daughters, sisters, and mothers in prison cells. The woman visited his cell daily in an attempt to test her powers on him, “Why won’t you obey me?” “Get me some Parliaments and I’ll obey you.” She growled at him and kicked the bars, “You do not tell me what to do boy!” Hero shrugged and sat back. “If you saw a shooting star, what would you wish for?” The woman’s eyes widened and she approached the bars. “Wait…what did you just say?” “Nothing.” “No, the thing with the stars.” She said, this time in a friendlier tone. “Parliaments or no deal.” She grabbed her hair and screamed, “Get me the damned cigarettes!”
She threw him a pack of cigarettes, “Now tell me what I want to hear you little brat!” “These are Marlboros.” She glared at him. “Open the cell!” She had her men force Hero on his knees and kicked him in the stomach. “Answer me!” Hero remained silent. This went on for nearly a month before the woman caved in and gave him the Parliaments he so craved. “Now tell m-” She stood in awe as Hero pulled out his Will o’ the Wisp and it lit up without him striking it. “What is that?!” “Fire.” She glared at him, “You promised you’d obey if I gave you your damn-” “You made a wish on a shooting star.” The woman stopped dead on her conversation. “How did you know th-y-you! You made a wish! Were you a woman?” “No.” Hero said, taking his time with his first puff. “Well then, what did you wish for?” “I wished for…excitement.”
“She later told me she had ‘wished to rule the hearts of men’ or something, but I wasn’t paying attention. Anyways, what’s your story?”
If you didn’t read that wall of text know this, it’s cool, it’s just an opening. The plot of this rp is that due to Hero’s wish, the world that we know, is no longer, and the world is filled with monsters, demons, and one particular wish granting gentleman. Join at your own discretion.
Rules:
1. Keep offensive language to a minimum. You know racism and all that jazz.
2. Romance at a PG-13 level. Kthnx.
3. Posts should have some importance, so one-liners are a no go por favor.
4. You have the option to be a wish maker or an average Joe.
5. a. If you are a wish maker, all other wish makers are immune to your powers. Remember this wisely. Also, you cannot make a wish similar to another wish you’ve made. No wishing for more wishes.
5. b. If you choose the life of an average Joe, you should be prepared to fight, and quite possibly be targeted, especially by people like Puppeteer.
6. Please please please please PM me your character, DO NOT POST THEM HERE.
7. There will be two “sides” in this RP, the side of Pheles, a man who wishes to rid this world of its monsters, and has the most benefits as far as power will go, they’re the leading faction as of now. Phorkyas’s side is a more peaceful side, as she wishes to help humans and wish makers, and even monsters. Her ultimate goal is to find a person who can perhaps convince D to undo this change.
8. Have fun, enjoy the ride and well, see you in a few.

"What happens to a wish once the wish maker has perished?"
The wish vanishes.
"What if the wish was used on someone else such as, 'I wish my (insert relative) was alive again?' or 'I wish FDR didn't have polio.'"
The revived person would die, or the afflicted person would regain their ailment.
"What happens to their gift?"
Nothing, gifts can usually only be used properly by the wish-maker, so the gift will be useless in most other hands.
If you have any comments, questions or concerns, PM me. Seriously. I want to help.
//9/20/11- Welcome characters: Analise(nekoryuuha), Raymond(me).
“What’s up with Quentin and Zelos? Why are they so powerful?”
They’re gods who became demi-human more or less to escape their untimely deaths.
“…that’s cheap.”
Well you can use wishes against them unrestrained while they’re tier 3 & 4.
“Tiers? You never explained this.”
Nope, I didn’t, just made it up like last night. Tiers go as follows
Tier 0: God Status- Wishes have 1/8th their regular effect, immune to all elements other than their opposing element. Water=Fire, Fire=Water, Wind=Earth, Earth=Wind.
Tier 1: Demi-God Status- Wishes have 1/4th their regular effect, and they are immune to their element.
Tier 2: Revival Status- Wishes have ½ their effect, gods gain control of their respective element, and gods regain all memories at this stage.
Tier 3: Awakening Status- Gods begin to regain memories of their godhood and can use powers beyond this world, to a certain extent. Gods can absorb memory energy by will, and break down dead wishmakers and wishes at this point.(Quentin and Zelos are here.)
Tier 4: Human Status- Nothing special, no memories, and gods slowly gain memories through extended contact with wishes/wishmakers.
Once again, need help? Ask and you SHALL receive.
//9/21/11- Welcome characters: Billy(me).

Biography: Remia and Hijira are sisters that lost their entire family to the first monster attacks that began years ago. One day, when the girls were separated from each other, Remia came across 'D'. It was then that she expressed her wish to be able to protect her Sister, Hijira, even if she had to be come a monster herself. When 'D' asked if that was her wish, to become a 'monster' to protect her sister, she smiled and agreed. Maybe she didn't take him seriously, but when her bat-like wings exploded from her back and she felt weak under the dusk sunlight, it didn't take her long to realize what happened to her. She'd become a Vampire. When she got over the shock(and moved to the shade), D gave her that crimson stone, saying it would be of help, though she was likely strong enough already, and left with a smile. But she'd gotten her wish, however. The next time monsters attacked her and her sister, Remia tore them apart herself. The sister have been traveling since, learning what Vampire myths are and aren't real... the hard way.

Side: Neutral
Appearance: Note the stick.
Biography: It was about two months after Remia's wish. Remia was resting after a fight with a group of monsters to protect her and their meager camp. She'd gone to the nearby river for water when she came upon D sitting on a rock near the water. They talked for a bit before D asked if there was anything Hijira ever wished for, Hijira stating that she wished that she fight and defend herself, so to take the burden off her sister. He asked her how and she replied, "I guess if I could never be caught weaponless, maybe?" It wasn't until D asked if that was her wish that she began to recall her sister's story that 'she'd made a careless wish'. But it didn't stop her from making the wish. D chuckled as he handed her a metal rod, showing her how to use, and touching her with something she didn't see before telling her to 'study hard'. It paid off... Three days later, a startled Remia watched her sister take down a thug with a startling large scythe.
Wish Maker
Handle: Captain Bravo
Gender: Male
Wish: To protect others.
Gift: "You can't go protecting people in only rags. Take this, it makes you look cooler."
Silver Skin(It takes one of two forms, his clothes as in his appearance or it's a hexagonal object about the size of his palm.) In the latter form it's indestructible, but not very useful and it can only be turned into the Silver Skin form by Captain Bravo himself, it takes on other forms based on the user's fighting spirit. And in the former it's stronger than steel, is light enough to not impair his movement, and any damage it takes gets restored almost instantaneously. He almost always has it in Silver Skin form, because "It's cooler that way!"
Side: Neutral
Appearance: Looks kinda like Cocoon Aizen.
Biography: He had a name once, and then he met D. It was last week, he watched in horror as a dragon landed on a house and burned a woman with it's breath as she was running from the wreckage. Captain Bravo rushed the dragon, brandishing a log(it was the only thing nearby), figuring he was dead either way so he decided to go down swinging. The dragon knocked him aside and then pinned him to the ground. During his last moment he saw a star shooting across the sky, given his current predicament he figured he had nothing to lose so he made the wish. His Silver Skin formed to protect him when the dragon tried to eat him. Rather, it protected him from getting chewed up, he still got eaten. But Captain Bravo climbed his way back up the dragon's throat and killed it with one of it's own teeth. He fights using "Bravo Martial Arts".
Average Joe
Handle: Erza Starkes
Gender: Female
Weapons: A number of handguns and knives. Most of her weaponry is hidden on her person.
Side: Neutral
Appearance: Look at those heels!
Biography: Erza was a professional card player before all hell broke loose. Since then she's continued to ply her trade, playing for guns, food, and whatever else she needs. She actually met D once, just before a poker tournament, but she prefers to be self-sufficient and doesn't want to owe anything to anybody else. If she has something it's because she's earned it. Either through cards, deceit, and even force when need be. She carries a number of spare decks and a variety of dice.
Wish Maker:
Handle: Dale Allan
Gender: Male
Wish: To enchant anyone who hears his music.
Gift: "Take this lute, it'll make your music spoonier than ever."
The lute Dale plays has the power to weaken conditions of anyone who hears it. It causes men to become docile, women to swoon, and wild animals to become tame and quiet. It also allows him to know and play songs he isn't aware of, although that's a technicality.
Side: None, as of now (Although, being a spoony bard, he can be very easily persuaded into a side by a beautiful woman).
Appearance: All he needs is his tip collecting hat, no?
Biography: A failure as a performer and a dishonored former noble of the courts, when the world changed, he became a minstrel who's only purpose became wandering. Although he possessed some talent with his smallsword (a smaller, lighter version of the rapier), he found himself lingering in taverns and drinking himself into a stupor simply to continue living.
After one particularly bad performance, in a drunken stupor, he wandered upon someone. Although he couldn't tell the person he was looking at, he did hear a question. "What is your wish?"
Dale simply laughed, and answered, "I wish to enchant everyone that hears my music." At that point, he passed out. Upon awakening, Dale discovered three things: he had a wicked hang over; there was a lute awaiting him upon awakening; it had a note attached.
The note simply read, "Take this lute, it'll make your music spoonier than ever." It was on that day that, despite being somewhat skeptical, he took up the lute and began playing for a crowd in the center of a street. Upon playing, he noticed that people listened... almost too intently. With a mischievous smile, Dale began to move from place to place, amassing wealth and prestige as a bard/Minstrel across the land. No longer was he a failure... now he was famous. He could return to all of the sinful, sinful things he desired now... but a foreboding sense took him for a moment.
Something more unusual was going on, and he couldn't help but feel that by having his wish granted, he had been drawn in. At this realization, only the words, "Dammit," came from his mouth.
Average Joe (er... kinda?)
Handle: Zelos Herrio
Gender: Male
Weapon(z): Assault Rifle: A powerful, rapid fire machine gun. Although not his weapon of choice, this is the weapon he uses to try and remain incognito. It has a thirty-round cartridge and fires bullets in bursts of three.
Wind Cloak: A passive tool. The Cloak of Wind is a hold-over from his true power. The cloak grants defense from wind-type magic and weakens the force of projectiles. The cloak grants Zelos a weakness to ice and lightning based weapons and magics. The cloak is green in color and starts at the base of his neck and extends down to his thighs. It looks like a green poncho with four slits, one in the front, one in the back and one on each side, and is unmoved by winds and protects him from the elements (notably blizzards and sandstorms, of the non-magical variation).
Weaponized Body: Zelos possesses the power to transform his arms from the elbow down and the leg from his knee down into a different form. These transformations cause his eyes to glow golden and the area above where they transform have green lines extending up the body slightly more. Also, when transformed, the hurricane tattoo on his leg shines green.
Arms: When transformed, his arms become somewhat larger and a long slit forms along the back of the hand between the index and middle finger up along the back of his forearm. From this, a two foot long, green blade of divine bone erupts from his forearm between his index and middle fingers. The blade curves with the blade inward and is double-edged.
Legs: When his legs transform, it is both more obvious, but more dangerous. When his legs transform, his toes except his big toe fuse together, the sole of his foot curve upwards, and his heel extends several inches out, forming a sheathe-like appendage. At this point, an eight inch dagger extends between his toes that he uses to fight. The major change, though, is that, like this, Zelos' speed and agility increases.
Side: None, currently
Appearance: I never knew not comprehending things was cool. Whoa...double negative.
Biography: The name Zelos Herrio is purely an anagram. In truth, before the wish, he was Zorlo, god of the winds and blades. His job was to watch over the world and guide the four winds in proper flow. As far as the pantheon was concerned, Zorlo's status as a god was more that of a minor god, who simply helped keep the world in balance between the five major elements: wind, water, fire, earth and spirit, in order of weakest to strongest.
On the day of the wish, however, the ethereal realm was torn asunder. As the godly domain vanished, so, too, did it's inhabitants as newer gods formed to more adequately reflect the new world being born. In order to preserve his essence and learn what was wrong with this world, Zorlo incarnated himself into a human body and cast himself into the world.
The impact onto the world, however, left a great deal of his old memories damage or scattered. Awakening in a state of confusion, the man found himself wearing a green cloak with an odd weapon sitting next to him. He recalled that his purpose was something important... somewhat was distinctly wrong and different within the world. The man retained enough about Zorlo's memories to know that he wasn't a completely normal human, but wasn't quite sure how he was different.
Roaming the landscape, he fought the monsters that attacked with some level of efficiency. Most importantly, he retained his knowledge of how to cast bullets for his gun... but, in an overzealous attempt, he found himself surrounded and trapped by monsters.
Out of ammo and facing likely death and consumption, his fear awakened a latent power within him. In that moment, his arms and legs saw green lines run up them as they transformed and blades extended from his arms and daggers from his feet. Moving like a bat out of hell, he cut the remaining monsters to shreds and watched as a number escaped. Roaring an unearthly roar, he consumed the remains of the monsters and felt memories slowly flow back into him.
Wiping his mouth of the blood, Zorlo smiled. He now recalled who he had been and where he was. Still, he realized two problems: He couldn't control his god weapons, the Asura Blades and Gale Knives, at the same time without losing control and going berserk. He would need to be more careful and prevent transforming as much as possible. Any who retained knowledge of the old pantheon would recognize the weapons as being those of the wind god himself.
"For now, I'll need to rely on my cunning and tact... and I can't very well keep my name... Zelos Herrio sounds about right for this," the man whispered as he picked up the assault rifle and started walking off. For now, he would need to figure out what had happened to the world and, if possible, return it to its original state. If not, he would simply find a way to kill the new god of wind and regain his position. Either way, this affair would be exciting.
Average Joe: But not really.
Handle: Quentin Compson
Gender: Male
Weapon: Mechanical left arm: It can shoot out flames from its fingertips.
Explosive contact: If Quentin so much as thinks of it, whenever he touches something or vice0versa, and explosion is created, often of a small scale.
Guitar: Unknown power, perhaps just a regular guitar.
Side: None as of current.
Appearance: A man of an average height, with feathery auburn hair, of which he hides under a fitted orange cap with a yellow brim. He wears this cap backwards, and has “ENDG@ME” written on it in what appears to be blood. He wears an evergreen jacket with brown trim, charcoal pants and umber tanker boots. He also wears a pair of chipped glasses.
Biography: Zelos’s older brother Quintesson brought to flesh and blood. After the wish was made and the godly plain was gone, the five gods only had days left to survive, Quintesson watched as he brothers either left, or perished, and with his brother Zorlo, decided that life in the human realm was better than no life at all.
“Quentin” retains more memories than “Zelos” does, due to his more powerful abilities, and his more violent nature. Quentin met D. once he remembered who he was, and asked him one thing, “How is my brother?”
Wish Maker:
Handle: Analise Touhou
Gender: Female
Wish: "To control the 'Ultimate Power'!"
Gift: "Here. With all that power, you're gonna need this to make sure things stay right, y'know?"
The brown, hexagonal rod she wears on her right arm. (See pic for reference) Seems important, as she almost never removes it from her arm.
Side: Neutral
Appearance:
Normally we stare at girls' chests... this chest is getting back.
Biography: Analise was one of the woman unfortunate enough to me living in the Town of Hermlinville when Puppeteer subjugated the men and imprisoned the women in the prison. It wasn't hard to hate the woman, and seeing Puppeteer force her brother to do her bidding just made it that much worse. Nightly, she used to wish for the power to escape and exact her revenge, but it wasn't until she made the wish on a chance shooting star that she met D, or rather, D came to her cell window. She didn't care about losing her soul if it mean getting out and possibly getting her revenge. So she made her wish to possess the 'Ultimate power'. Her mind went blurry as she became dizzy and sudden felt scorchingly hot before passing out. The sound of screaming brought her back to consciousness, everyone near her was trying to get away from her and were covered in burns. "Here. With all that power, you're gonna need this to make sure things stay right, y'know?" she heard as a brown rod fell next to her. Just touching it made her feel better as the screams slowly died away to moans of pain. But she had it, and that was enough to comfort her as she annihilated the cell wall and left. She's been traveling since.
Explanations:
~"Ultimate Power": Nuclear power, both Fission and Fusion. Gives her the power to generate intense thermonuclear and electromagnetic reactions near and around her. The effectiveness is greatly reduced against other wish makers. (E.I. An attack that reduces normal foe A to ash, only badly burns Wishmaker foe B.)
~The Gift: "The third leg", a control rod that functions to give her full control of her powers and to prevent them from going out of control and destroying everything near her(including herself ultimately).

A woman with long blue hair held by a length of patterned ribbon was currently cutting up some vegetables. She was currently making dinner for the people at the base. She knew that her ability was easily kept under control with her glasses, so she would do it with her glasses off in order to give herself some time without them. If she didn't learn to control it around food, she wouldn't be able to around people. She had come here with the intention of having everyone be able to tell the truth. That's why she chose the name she did for herself.

((BAM! Welcome to the nightmare!))
The world has changed, it has been nearly five years since the world change, and many government systems have collapsed, the world is in what is considered a “post-apocalyptic ” time. With that being said here is our young wish maker, Hero.
Hero held his shovel in his hand. He picked up the shovel two years ago when he found himself fighting a werewolf. The shovel’s shovel was made of some degree of silver, as it helped him take down the werewolf. Hero had also been without his beloved Parliaments for nearly three and a half years, since stores aren’t easy to come around. However, Hero has “manned” up and accepted other cigarettes in lieu of not having Parliaments. Hero wanders around solo, and feeds on the meat of anything that he kills. Truly the life he wished for, yet he still seemed apathetic toward it all.
“Hecate.” The masked woman’s voice had certain strength to it. Perhaps it was that, added with her vast knowledge, that led many to trust her. “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help.” She looked over Hecate’s shoulder at the food she had been preparing. “I hope the harvest was enough, it was difficult to collect vegetables this month, with that monster attack last week, and the one before that.” In the base’s cafeteria, which was a museum cafeteria, Tristan sat at a table with a few people he had just met today. Drinking wasn’t really possible, but they still made all the noise that brought forth the ambiance of an open bar. “I tell you, that dragon’s head was as big a that guy over there!” Tristan said pointing towards a portly man. “If it weren’t for the wish makers’ immunity I swear there’d be no way I’d even dream of fighting off things like that!” “So, did you kill it?” “No it was someone else, they had a gun, although here they get bullets is beyond me.”

"Miss Phorkyas." Hecate smiled, turning to look at the masked woman. "I'm doing my best to ration the harvest to last for as long as possible. We should be able to last a few months if we ration them out well." She knew that around wish makers she wouldn't be effected. "It is an honor just to hear those words." She felt the thin black frame glasses in her pocket. She wondered vaguely if she should do a request for dinner.

In a camp in a forest, The Seihou sisters sat in relative ease. Hijira was 'reading' up on her newest weapon as she cooked their afternoon meal while her sister dozed lightly under a huge sun umbrella. It felt like it had been so long since the sisters' had become Wishmakers and they'd learned quite a bit since then about their powers. Hijira's was obvious. She couldn't really wield anything she wasn't strong enough to lift well, but was otherwise unrestricted. Remia, on the other hand, was far more complicated as the myths and legends about Vampires were many and conflicting. Sunlight wasn't an instant kill, like in the movies. Dim sunlight weakened, while strong sunlight, like now, would begin to cause burns as if the tanning process was exponentially sped up. They also learned that apparently, Vampires could still eat food and gain sustenance to prolong time between feedings, but blood was undoubtedly a necessity. So she'd taken to draining the animals they caught for food so as to minimize her need to seek a Human. "Sister? The meat's cooked if you want any," Hijira said as she let her 'scroll' vanish and placed the rod in her dress pocket.
Remia stretched and yawned, her fangs easy to see with her mouth open so wide. That was another myth the Vampire were forced to sleep all day helplessly. Remia, at least, could sleep as she wished and didn't need to if she didn't want to. It was too bad that they weren't able to tell if the garlic myth was true, as Remia was allergic to that before her change and appeared to have retained that allergy. "No, I'm still full from catching it. You go on and eat, Hijira. I'll have some later, maybe," Remia replied as she stretched and rubbed one eye, coming fully awake to 'take watch' as Hijira ate. It wasn't too difficult to fight during the day, though she wouldn't be quite as fast or strong. She'd also learned ways to get around the damaging sun as well, so it wasn't that bad.
"Say, sister... Have you thought about those two factions we keep hearing about?"
"Yeah. Pheles & Phorkyas. In truth, I really don't like either faction, but Pheles is probably going to be an issue after a while," Remia replied as she sat up and crossed her arms.
"But He wants to eradicate all monsters, right?"
"Yeah, and it's a good chance I'll be on that list if or when he learns of me."
"Both of us, since I'm not gonna stand back and let that happen," Hijira replied smiling before she continued eating. "And The other?"
"The other indeed... Well, we'll just have to see what happens if or when we encounter them," Remia replied as she sat back.

BRAVO PUNCH!
Captain Bravo's blow sent a ten foot tall ogre flying back, knocking down the ones behind it like bowling pins. He stood between them and a farmer's cattle pen. The ogres, not content with just the one beating charged him again. He took their strikes and shouted. "BRAVO LASH!" as he unleashed a torrent of punches upon them. When he was finished there was only the biggest and ugliest ogre left standing, it turned and ran for the forest. "METEOR BRAVO KICK!" Captian Bravo leaped in the air, giving chase, and came down with a powerful kick to the ogre's skull.
Erza sat in the museum's cafeteria, she was doing quite well and it was supposed to be her deal, but the other players were just staring at her and not passing the deck. She was getting that 'they think I'm cheating' feeling again. "What?" "You've been getting too good a string of luck, girly. You're out." "Excuse me?" "You're out, and leave your ill gotten gains." She stared at them until they looked away. "Hey, Blue." She turned to look at Tristan. "You want a chocolate bar? These jackals" She stabbed a knife between the fingers of a man reaching toward her winnings. "think I'm cheating. Handle the cards for me and the candy's yours."

"It is an honor just to hear those words." Phorkyas tried to hide her less than humble attitude, especially around her “children,” “Do not take it as an honor my child, I, like you, am just a simple person, people just happen to believe in me. And for them, I try to help. Also, I shall be leaving on another voyage to find more who are in need, I shall return in exactly three days, until then, I ask that you do your best to take care of the children.” Phorkyas knew that Hecate was young for such a responsibility, but at this time, she also knew a warrior could not lead them while she was away, and her secondary leader was out on a mission to find real meat.
Hero came across something he hadn’t come across before, a vampire that was talking to a human, both seemed female, but Hero was not chivalrous in one bit. ‘Do monsters pair up now? Maybe it’s getting dire?’ Hero thought, remembering that werewolves looked human in the day. He rushed at the sisters, shovel in hand.
Tristan was tapped on the shoulder by a man at the table and was motioned towards Erza. "You want a chocolate bar? These jackals think I'm cheating. Handle the cards for me and the candy's yours." Tristan pointed towards himself, but the other men gladly volunteered as well, candy was scarce and anything that wasn’t vegetable was highly desirable. “No, no, she said me, she said me.” Tristan said as he got up and jogged up to the table, “I would have gladly done it without the bribe, but I still want the chocolate.” Tristan sat down at the table, “Actually, would you mind if I joined the game- No, no, I’m her pinch shuffler.” Tristan took the deck from the man who held it now, and began shuffling. “So, what’re we playing? No, no, just tell me, how do I deal?”

"Hey, thats my chocolate bar, you can't go giving it away." "I'm not dealing, I'm not even touching the cards, if you try to castrate me anymore." She flipped the knife up and caught it, glaring at him before she finally put it away. "You'll get the chocolate afterwards. Five card draw, you do know how to deal that, right?" It didn't take five more hands for her to finish cleaning the other players out. They seemed to be considering trying to take them from her anyways, so she scooped up her winnings with her knife. Erza tossed the chocolate bar to Tristan. "Here, we're even." She sat down at the table Tristan had come from and began shuffling a deck. "So, anybody else care to try your luck?"

....? Remia glanced curiously in Hero's direction as he walked up, continuing her conversation with her sister without pause she looked him over. It was times like this that she wished that she could hide her wings. So... who might this be, I wonder...? He doesn't look to be a bandit or the like, yet he doesn't seem scared in the face seeing I'm not Human. Interesting...
"Sister? What's distracting you now?" Hijira asked as she finished her plate. Though the conversation had went on naturally enough, Hijira could tell. After all, She's known Remia her entire life.
Remia chuckled as she stood up. Hero charged them not a second after she did so. When Hijira took notice, Remia touched her shoulder. "Let your food settle. I got this," Remia said as she hopped from shadow to shadow at Hero. Though the shadows were meters apart, it took her less then a second to make each hop. Though she was as strong as the Monster people claimed her to be, her true strength was her speed. But still, she sensed something...wrong...about Hero. Something was off. She knew it even as she shot into the sunlight, her nails deflecting the shovel several times in a show of sparks, before darting back into the shade, her porcelain-white skin flushed a pale pink. "My my... You're a fearless one. The last time I did that, the guy fled in terror. But that's neither here nor there. What is it you want from us?" Remia said to him as Hijira looked on from her seat.

"I'll do my best Miss Phorkyas." She smiled gently at the woman in front of her. "Will you need anything before you leave?" She put her hands in front of her and waited for what else might be said before she finished the meal in front of her.

Takumi was walking into the forest, with his scythe in his right hand upside down (skeith style FTW) and a monster in his left hand, he then throwed it into the woods, the monster let out a shrp cry, then a big ground of ogre-like things and bat-like flying things came, Takumi ran to the woods and hid in the top of a tree, the monsters pursuing him stopped to search for him, they seemed like they could smell him, Takumi then jumped down the tree spinning and plunged his scythe into one of the flying things and an ogre-like monster at the same time, he then stopped and fell into the ground, he spinned once again, making the other monsters to fall back, and throwing--cutted into two-- the monsters in his scythe at the same time, he then pierced a flying monster and throwed it into the ground, he then looked back and quickly swong(i dunno if it's swong or swinged, but its from the verb(?) swing) his scythe, cutting the monster into two "only two monsters left" he tough, there were a flying one and an ogre-like one, when he was ready to cut them into pieces, the both monsters fled deep into the woods "hey come back here!!" he said, and started pursuing them, the monsters were putting obstacles in his way, he tough about throwing his scythe to them, but, they could just change the direction and it would be a waste of time, so he decided to keep running until he had a chance of cutting them into pieces

Tristan watched in amazement, ‘No wonder they think she’s cheating, she’s really good.’ It wasn’t long before the girl had emptied the table. "Here, we're even."“Thanks for the meal” Tristan said opening the candy bar and taking a large bite. She followed him to his seat and offered another game. Tristan simply ate his chocolate and sat back. “You sure you want to play?” One of the gentlemen asked, “Around here we play for keeps, not fun.”
The vampire deflected his shovel blade with her nails easily, but that was to be expected of a monster. "My my... You're a fearless one. The last time I did that, the guy fled in terror. But that's neither here nor there. What is it you want from us?" Hero didn’t feel like answering and raised his shovel to strike the vampire again. She merely dodged with her superior speed, and Hero sighed. “This might take a while…” Hero charged at her full speed, although full speed on an empty stomach was practically nothing.
"Will you need anything before you leave?" Phorkyas raised her hand and shook her head. “No, I’ll be fine, I’m just going to go see if there’s any water in the storage, and leave with that. Please take care.” Phorkyas waved Hecate off with that, and left her in the kitchen alone.
“Boy!” Puppeteer’s voice echoed throughout the forest. “Friggin’ a…” She said as she ran through the forest wielding her weapon of choice, a sharpened lead pipe. “Boy! Get back here! I have something to tell you!” She ran into an ogre and stopped immediately. “Go kill yourself.” The monster raised its massive arm, and Puppeteer rammed her pipe into its gut.
((Also the correct term is swung.))

If he was trying to piss Erza off, he was doing a good job of it. Just because because she never made it to the final table at the world tournament of poker, did not mean she wasn't good enough to sit at that table. "You want to put your money where your mouth is and ante up, lech?" She set the deck down for him to cut it and put a packet of parliaments up as an ante. Erza didn't smoke, but a full package of cigarettes was pretty valuable, so she was basically saying this was going to be a high stakes game.
"Bravo Greetings." Captain Bravo walked up behind Hijira and extended a hand. "I am Captain Bravo. Might I ask to borrow your fire miss, so that I may Bravo Cook? I will happily share some of my Bravo Chicken with you and your two Bravo Friends if you like." In his left hand he carried a few recently skinned chickens the farmer had given him in thanks for solving his ogre problem.

Hijira jumped in startlement as she spun on Bravo, ready to call a weapon to hand, but pausing at his polite manner. She'd been too distracted with her sister's fight to notice him come up. "Go ahead. My sister and I have already cooked and eaten, but you're welcome to use the fire," Hijira replied as she looked back toward Remia and Hero.
Remia chuckled as she dodged farther back into the shade, her laughter somewhere between a mature laugh and an innocent giggle. "And a reckless one to boot. Don't tell me you came out here to get yourself killed...? Well... I might consider beating you to an inch of your life if you begged me, but I prefer not to kill Humans if possible, you know," Remia said as she met his shovel with three, powerful swipes from her now blood-enhanced nails, the heavy blows gouging at the shovel as she deflected it aside. With her speed, he suddenly found her inches from his face, a curious look on her face as she gazed at him as if to kiss him, but laughed and kicked back from him, the force making him stagger momentarily. But no attack came as she chuckled again. "I see... So that's what it was. You've made a wish too, haven't you?" she asked calmly from a shaded tree stump a few feet from him. "So, what did you want from life?"

"Bravo Thanks." Captain Bravo set up a spit and began turning the chickens over the fire. "So, are they just training, or are they actually fighting about something? It's hard to tell since my Bravo Senses tell me there is killing intent, but they haven't actually injured one another yet."

((Forgive me if this post is blechy, I'm posting on my phone.))
Several of then men placed their antes, bullets, food, matches, etc. Everyone wanted those cigarettes, and someone's contribution ensured smokes. "Remember, whoever wins wins it all." the man said in a condescending tone as he cut the deck. 'This should be good... Tristan thought as he finished the chocolate bar up. 'Someone is probably going to cheat though...'
Hero found himself excited with the entrance of Captain Bravo. 'That's something I've never seen before, is it a new monster?' The vampire was talking to him while he thought, but Hero ignored her, swinging away idly, fully aware that he wasn't hitting her. Until she was inches from his face that is. It was then that he noticed her blood enhanced nails, however, it was her leg that stuck him this time. "I see... So that's what is was. You've made a wish too, haven't you?" Suddenly. Hero realized why she was different, she wished to become a vampire. "So, what did you want from life?" Hero simply stared at the vampire, hiding his mixed emotions well. "I wished for lunch." And with that he swung at the vampire again, although this time it seemed as though he didn't want to kill her, just wound her.

Just as the new game was about to restart, Hecate exited the the kitchen and approached the display case. She put what she had made into a slot with each person's code name on it. Since she didn't know the real names of some of them, it was better to do it that way. "Dinner's ready." She spoke, her glasses on to keep up the habit. The dark silver framed glasses needed to be on in order to keep from seeing anything she didn't want to if a non-wish maker was around. She only made breakfast or dinner, since food could be pretty scarce.

((Seems fine.))
She wanted the dinner Hecate had prepared, but this guy had pissed her off. "Stay Blue, there needs to be an impartial person. It's just the one hand, so there should still be food left, and if not, I'll compensate you." Erza let the hand play out, betting big at every opportunity, in order to stay in the game and get to the food faster everyone called. On the one hand, she was annoyed and that made her more aggressive than usual, on the other hand Erza had learned to focus her anger into aggression so that she wouldn't be blind to a good mechanic when she saw one, and these guys were desperate and just plain bad at cheating. If she was perfectly honest, she could quite easily figure out what everybody's cards were. The simple fact of the matter was that they were playing with one of her decks and as they got used cards tended to develop character, a certain diamond was more faded than the others, a tobacco stain on a corner, having played with it so many times she had inadvertantly learned all of the cards. Of course, all of them had agreed to use this deck the moment the cards went out and they placed their bets, so she wouldn't apologize for it and she had tried not to notice their cards except for the fact where cards that weren't from her deck were ending up in the hands of the other players.
It was time to show. Erza showed first, she flipped over three cards revealing a pair of Aces with a Jack kicker. Only one of the players looked releaved the others all had smug look on their faces. The next guy flipped over a pair of aces with a king kicker. The next guy had three kings, a four, a queen, and a Jack. The one who had looked relieved showed a pair of Jacks, a pair of sixes, and a three kicker. And the lech, clearly a professional cheater, showed four eights. Erza clapped slowly as he started pulling the winnings in. "I'd be impressed except for the fact that you having four eights is impossible. She flipped over her other two cards, a pair of eights and put both of her hands in her lap. What nobody except for Tristan could see was that she was resting her hands on a pair of handguns. The guy with the three kings laughed and started pulling them to himself. "Yeah, no, you're sharing one of your kings with that guy." The guy with the pair of aces laughed nervously and pulled a two out of his sleeve. "You caught me." "Yeah, he's also got six cards in a five card game." The lech stood up angrily and slammed his fists on the table. "Why should we believe that your eights are the real ones?" "It's simple really, you palmed two cards and dropped them on the floor." He snarled and went for his crowbar and Erza pulled the guns out from under the table. "Anybody want a free bullet? No? Blue, please gather my winnings for me and don't drop anything." She holstered a gun and recovered her cards. She took the things from Tristan saying, "Thank you Blue. Is there a merchant around here somewhere? I would like to condense my belongings into more useful and portable things?"
((Editting in.)) The guy, practically a kid, who had the worst hand spoke up. "Um, we can figure out who's telling the truth. Wait here a second." Erza raised an eyebrow, but he hadn't been cheating so she gave him the benefit. He ducked into the kitchen. "Uh, Miss Hecate. Do you think you could come out here for a second? There's a dispute about who's cheating in that poker game. I'm told you're good at finding the truth."
