I'm not sayign it's bad or anything, but whats up with all the Ubuntu icons? Were they put up on accident, or does one of the higher-ups run it, or somethin'?

See, i knew this was going to happen!!! I FREAKING KNEW IT!!! AND NO ONE LISTENED!!! NO ONE EVER LISTENS TO ME!!! D'X *tantrum thingy*
Anyways, yeah, i didn't like the Ubuntu icons since i first saw them; they aren't exactly bad, but they just give a wrong impression of the forums. And as i said, i am willing to help in getting a better imageset or even creating one, however i don't know the specifications of the imageset, such like their size, type, if they need to be in one file or separated, etc. I could still create one right now (or sometime during this or next week) based on my ideas and make them exactly the same as the ubuntu ones (same size, same type, maybe even same color), and see if they work. My current ideas are either the altimit hexagon thingy, AIDA spots, or transparent characters' faces with features outlined (almost like they were carved on stone or something).

...Of course, before doing this, i would have to know if the admins are actually willing to change the icons. Or can do it without breaking the entire layout or something D:

And while we're at it, it would also be great to change/remove those icons in the top/bottom docks. The docks are pretty cool and i like them, however they currently scream OPEN SOURCE as well, and some of those icons don't even serve for any function. Would at least be great if, for example, the desktop-changing icon thingy would be clickable and would change the layout colors....but i guess that's too much to ask D:

Anyways, i'll be working on the imageset...whenever i work on it o3o Can't do this weekend, but will most surely be done with them before next weekend; it shouldn't take more than a hour after all. I realized that the image size given it's too little to work with AIDA dots properly (they'll be merely dots indeed), and faces would look quite distorted with the idea i had, so i'll do the Altimit logo thing. And i know how to work with that very well >3>

Yeah, but nobody was talking about making changes.

Someone find a good imageset, send me the link and I'll get it it in about 6-12 weeks.

Basic Altimit OS logo. Change the colors to suit your needs and its done. You can even go with the same color theme the current logos have.

And this one's already the right size!

About two minutes after I posted that I did it myself haha. If you can't see the image, clear your browsers cache.

I can see it on the main page, but when I go to "View unread posts" the old icons appear ._.

Same thing's happening for me and I just cleared my cache. Every topic has the old icons, and we still need to edit the Altimit logo's colors to reflect topic status.
