I was playing final fantasy ever since I had 7 for psone, but one day as soon a I got a ps2 I played this:

And I thought "final fantasy is dead" but they even had the guts to make a sequel, then came this:

And then I thought "Square Enix has lost their minds" then came this:

And I thought "good move but it felt lacking though" but then came this:

Fighting AND RPG combined! Screw kingdom hearts and crisis core, this combined two of my favorite genres! And its even getting a prequel! And characters from all the final fantasy games appear as well!

And this is also why I love using cloud:

A properly built Gabranth is unstoppable.

I kinda like cloud except for the fact that you cant go after enemies you've tossed far away with the buster sword.

yup all the way to ff11, I would really recommend this to any ff fan, besides squall's attacks are pretty good if you want to perform combo chains and keep the enemy at bay, its for the psp system.
But the prequel is coming out soon and has more characters, I kinda like laguna, with that machinegun all enemies are toast!

Personally I think Dissidia is one of the best FF titles ever made aside from FF 7 of course. Can't wait for Duodecim, it comes out on the 22nd btw.

Gabranth is in FF12 though,but oh well.I have to get it now @.@
So is it like is there a story?Or is it pointless fighting till you level up?

Very minor story about them being trapped in a universe created by the conflict between Chaos and Cosmos. And even they aren't sure how they got there.

even enemies have their own level so you might want to watch yourself.

Both Sephiroth AND Gabranth, when customized correctly, are completely unstoppable

Yeah sephiroth does have longer ranged attacks than most characters, until laguna comes along.

You can customize?

Yeah pretty much like in most FF games you can change weapons and armor, add accessories etc. It doesn't change the way your character looks just gives them a boost in stats. You can, however, change costumes after you buy them from the PP catalogue. (for example Cloud's 2nd costume is the one from FF7 Advent Children).

Dissidia 012 is epic. Lightning, and Vaan are very epic characters in this game. Vaan can be tolerated in this game compared to FF12 were he was a hero who just was lucky to get in the action.
