I heard that you need them to complete the Item Quest, but even that, as I have heard, is a complete waste of time.

and P.S: you don't need the Goblin sets to complete the item quest. Rare items don't count.

Hmm... didn't know that (I don't have QUARANTINE 
). Anyway, the summons for the goblin armor are somewhat useful, especially because of their long range, but they deal neutral damage, so no elemental hits are possible.

I gave up in round 9 I think, and I sold all of the items..Lol.
