Alright all demon's souls fans out there! I found out that there is a sequel to demons souls, take a look!:


Okay its not really a sequel but its a spiritual successor, and all the worlds are connected so its open world exploration, and the game seems to be more on the horror side now than before, that and it also looks like that its gotten more brutal.

No brainer! Of course. A lot of people are hyped for this game including myself.

It also doesnt have "classes" anymore, instead you can just customize your character the way you want.

Wow, the graphics are beautiful and the armor looks amazing. I hope it's even more challenging than Demon's Souls, i need a game that will take forever to beat.

Yeah the graphics and aesthetics has gotten better, but the developers made this game more on horror than fantasy, I mean no music playing gives off a creepy vibe doesnt it?

Dead Space 1 had creepy music, the trailer alone made me fearful. But yeah it looks more horror like, so I'm gonna hope nothing too overpowered jumps out for a shock horror moment.

the creators also made it go on more survival so yo SHOULD expect to be ambushed by something lurking n the shadows, and I think time might also be of importance now.

New Dark Souls trailer and we got a released date. October 2011!

I wonder as to what type of horrors are we going to face this time? Demons? The undead? Black sorcery?
I think the knight class will be making a comeback.

despite the previous statements of no classes I learned that there will still be classes, but you can still customize your character the way you want, I'm planning on becoming a pseudo merchant!

Yes, a number of older classes plue new one are going to be available to start with. There's also supposed to be a religion system that kinda interests and intrigues me. It should prove interesting.

So, the game is out. Who plays?

I'm currently loving the game to death. I have a dex, str, faith, and int build going on. All currently lvl 70 (except for my int build, she's only lvl 66). My main character is my dex build (Scythe and Katana user). Going to cap my level at 75 until I beat the game and go into NG+.

All of my characters are basically glass cannons though, lol. Vitality is the last prioritized stats in all of my builds. High mobility is important to my playstyle so endurance is always the #2 most important stat to raise in all of my builds. The #1 most important stats is the stat which increases my attack power (which of course differs depending on the build).

so does anyone here know about the four kings? I've heard things but they mention having to jump down some hole, which is like that time some fool in the first game tricked me into diving into some pit, and I died, I mean are the four kings even real? Or is it just some wild goose chase like the GTA4 Ratman? I'm also getting tired of running around the londo ruins and getting ambushed by ghosts, which reminds me how do you deal with those things?

To handle ghosts, you must be cursed either through being cursed by basilisk(not recommended), using a curse weapon such as Ghost Blade or Greatsword of Artorias(the cursed version) or use transient curse which can be bought from the female undead merchant of Ingward. The Four Kings are real. You need a certain story related ring to do that jump.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition hitting PC on August 24 through Steam and GFWL. The Artorias of the Abyss expansion content will be sold through Xbox Live for 1200 Microsoft Points and PlayStation Network for 14.99 USD in winter.
