Dead space 2.
I recently bought the game due to being in a good mood and I discovered it had multiplayer, so I just wanted to start this topic so I could see if there are other's out there with the same game.

Re: Dead space 2.
The multiplayer could be better. The lurker's camera angles are way too awkward so it's hard to get the maximum damage out of his range attack. The human stasis ability is cheap, it does get rid of the annoying people who run straight at you and could kill you easily but it makes it almost impossible to get a kill by yourself if your a necromorph. The spitter's long range attack is overpowered, you do have to charge it but its easy to hide behind a wall and charge it. So i would suggest not being a lurker and attacking in a group when your a necromorph and when you are a human and getting attacked by a spitter, just run away unless you think you can hit it with stasis.
Damn, i had a rant going on there.

how about your strategies in single player? I always chop off slasher's legs before they can get to close with a fully upgraded plasma cutter, I also like to use the pulse rifle but only in crowd control situation's, it comes in really handy against the pack.

Re: Dead space 2.
For the Stalker, i normally stand with my back to a corner and a fully loaded plasma cutter, when they pop their heads out to look at me i shoot. It's like a whack-a-mole concept but most the time when i shoot one another one runs straight at me, it isn't too hard to shoot the other one while it runs if you have well timed reactions. I also aim while turning around corners and while opening doors or elevators.

ever tried shooting them? It even earns you a trophy when they stick their heads out and you kill them with a headshot using the seeker rifle, as for brute's I think the plasma cutter works in primary fire quite well dont you think?

Just beat it for the first time, I know it took a long time but I was busy and I was constantly searching for supplies. A great game, I didn't really appreciate them messing with me at the end when they made it seem like a dream but now I'm laughing about it.

But I heard that there will be a dlc with a new protagonist(old if you've played extraction).

I'm playing extraction now, I'm guessing the 'new' protagonist is the detective guy?Kaori wrote:But I heard that there will be a dlc with a new protagonist(old if you've played extraction).
