Rise a Knight-Mission in Progress

This is the sequel to Escape from Osmia(EfO). For those who were a part of that you may, but are not required to, use your old character. It has been 2 years since the training facility on Osmia was destroyed. Your training was completed by gunnery Sergeant Stone on Reach 1 year ago and you are all now Knights. The ultimate soldiers and special forces of the Unified Systems. The US is at war with the Federation of Independent Systems. The Separatist faction became known as the Federation shortly after their victory at Osmia. They used their newly developed power armored soldiers to attain more victories immediately after that in a blitz, including gaining control of several ships and a couple of shipyards. Turning what was a simple rebellion into a full scale war.
The setting for those who weren't part of EfO. Humanity has developed faster than light travel(FTL) and has expanded across dozens of star systems. Mass drivers and missiles form the majority of ship to ship weaponry. Lasers, while powerful, are very costly to operate and maintain and are therefore primarily used on space ferring vessels and even then only as defensive measures against incoming missiles and are not used offensively. Lasers are not used by foot soldiers at all due to the difficulty of field maintenance for the complex weapons and the inability to use for extended periods of time without ready access to a substantial power source.
And you are a Knight, you were kidnapped by the government at a young age, 5-8, and have been in training to be a Knight ever since, whether you liked it or not. Knights are the ultimate in special forces. They have received cybernetic augmentation that pushes their abilities well beyond that of a normal human.

You may only kill off a character if the founder of the post states that it's ok. No inappropriate actions (sex, drugs use, racial attacks, etc) will not be tolerated.

GRAMMAR SKILLS-Please please please use your best grammar. If it's meant to reflect the character's dialect then it's fine otherwise use your best grammar. If I wanted to read text talk I would text someone. And if I wanted to read something that looks like it was written by a kindergartner I would go through my box of stuff from back then. If you're concerned about your spelling type it up in Word or Firefox, they have spellcheck use it. And reread it at least once after you're done typing, if it looks bad to you chances are it looks bad to everyone else too.
Please use your best spelling skills when writing a story. Do not abbreviate every other word.

Like in EfO I will not have a singular character I control, but I will control all NPCs. I will present a situation and you will post how your character reacts and what they're trying to do. I will post a response detailing the results of everyone's actions once everyone has posted or 24 hours have passed since the last person's post. Y'all may talk amongst yourselves as well and I probably won't post until y'all are done with your characters' conversation. If you do something stupid, like run straight at a machine gun nest wearing naught but your skivvy's and shooting a handgun you will either get killed or at the very least seriously injured, so don't do that. Attempts to godmod will end about as well. The great space dragon does not approve of others treading upon his territory uninvited, but if you come up with a creative solution things will probably go well as creativity earns favor with the great space dragon.

Name: (A first name and designation. Pick a number ranging from 201 and 299 and put K-#. Example, Jack K-242. If you are bringing a character over from Escape from Osmia you don't have to keep the same designation.)
Age: 18-22
Role: (What, if any, specialized training have you had? Are you a sniper, engineer, demolitions expert, electronic warfare specialist, hand-to-hand, pilot, etc. You may have more than one, but keep it reasonable. Remember, you don't have to be a demo specialist to use C4 just like you don't have to be a hand-to-hand specialist to get into a fist fight. But a demo specialist can make improvised explosives and a hand-to-hand specialist will be able to turn anything into an effective weapon, even a teacup, and will be overall better at close quarters.)
Quirk: (Could be any number of things from always adding an honorific to a person's name, making a rock collection, always carrying a sword, or something stranger. Just something that makes your character a little different.)
Injury: Describe one major injury your character has received in the past year. Limbs can have been either cloned or replaced by a highly advanced prosthetic if you wish the loss of a limb to be your injury. But you may not have lost more than one limb, eye, or ear. Thus you will not be adversely affected by your injuries unless you really want to be. You may have been caught partially in the blast radius of an explosion or simply shot by one or more high caliber round(s). Remember y'all have received cybernetic upgrades and have endured a lot of grueling training, you are capable of far more than an average human, but you're not immortal. Y'all do a lot of groundside work, but you may also have done boarding or repelling of boarders, or have been outside of a vessel for some reason.
Appearance: Your clothes won't necessarily be what's in your description/picture, y'all are military, but you're also special forces. You wear clothes to fit the mission.
--Mission Briefing--
You wake up to a high pitched ping as the hologram of a miniaturized man in swim trunks appears on a nearby terminal in your room. “Good morning, Admiral Simmons is waiting for you in his ready room, just off the bridge.” His message delivered the hologram of Merlin, the ship's AI, exploded into binary. Your uniform is where you left it, in the locker in the corner of your room. The room while not very spacious is yours and has been for the past three months and thus your personal effects line the shelves and walls. The two marines guarding your room and the rooms of the other knights salute as you exit.
The gray haired Admiral Simmons stands and exchanges a salute with each of you upon entering. The walls of the room are adorned with pictures of ships from 'most every era. On his desk rests an older model computer terminal that looks like it was installed after the ship was finished as you can see jury rigged wiring running down under the desk. And facing away from you are several pictures of Simmons' wife, daughter, son, and grandchildren. You can see the images reflected in the window behind the desk. In the glass case to your left are dozens of medals on the bottom shelf, a collection of handguns above them, and on the top shelf is a fishing pole and tackle box.
When the last of you arrive and have taken a seat he begins the briefing. “We will be entering orbit over Bounty in 5 hours. Bounty is a farming world and is officially neutral in our conflict with the Federation, however we have been informed that one of the Federation's most important research facilities is on Bounty. Our source informs us that this is the planet where they developed the power source for that armor they used 2 years ago on Osmia. Their current project is called Nova, our best guess is they're developing some new type of bomb. Your mission is to infiltrate the facility and destroy it. Your secondary objective is to gather any and all information about Nova that you can, if you can capture a lead scientist or two, great.
The facility is located deep underground and the only known entrance is located within a warehouse in a settlement. It should be lightly guarded, but you can't be detected or Bounty may join the Federation, so you will have to go in with minimal gear and armament, which means silenced sidearms and basic body armor, you'll have to figure out some way of destroying the facility once you're inside. After your shuttle leaves, ostensibly to gather supplies while we perform some repairs, the Leviathan will stay in orbit for as long as it can, but should Federation vessels appear and engage we may be forced to jump. In which case you will need to find your own way off Bounty and back into Uni space. I need to get back to the bridge. When you're done reviewing the mission get geared up.” He pushed a datapad to your side of the desk that contained the details he'd just given you.
