ASURA'S WRATH

CC2 is pushing out games more than usual. Asura's Wrath is action series developed between CyberConnect2 and the company Capcom. Asura, a revered deity is betrayed by the gods and cast down as mortal. Consumed by rage Asura sets out on rampage to bring the gods to justice. I'll be blunt. CC2 gets no points for originality, not with the Kratos references. But that's for someone more versed to decide. The trailer is nice, reminds me of Bst. There's a post about it on the front page as well.

I can't tell exactly how I feel about that trailer. It first it was all "Okay, yay." but then I just found it boring and ridiculous, especially at the end after he survived THAT.

I'm quite looking forward to it, manly.

It's like a better version of God of War.

I'm really not sure yet how I feel about it. But initial impression is that it will be worth having. I'm pretty excited though between Asura's Wrath, DMC (new Dante aside), and Catherine.

It looks damn mad and ridiculous in the trailer, but in a way that i'll love to play it and enjoy it and simply not pay much attention to anything regarding realism or whatever. It seems even more ridiculous than God of War and Bayonetta together, yeah, but i'm almost sure that as a game, it'll be damn good. I'm very interested overall in seeing just what CC2 and Capcom will create together 8D

And lol Gabi.

Ok, when Buddha's finger started coming down to crush tiny Asura, when he did the fix arm muscle pump, the only thing I can see him saying was "THIS AIN'T SH*T!!! RAAWWWWHHHHH!!!!!"

I might actually pick this one up, what little gameplay there was showed it could be a decent beat 'em up.

About the finger, it was only a moment but I think Asura gains mutiple arms. Asura was a god so maybe... That aside see any relations?:

So... if Asura was a god but now he's mortal why is he a robot? after rewatching the trailer I noticed at the end his arms are in pieces and from his shoulders...

that doesn't look organic.

I'm pretty sure this is what happens when a Ragnarok Online Champion makes a love child with Broly.

I so can't wait to play. :D

The guy who invented Black Rock Shooter noted that Capcom's signature artsyle, which he was inspired by, is extremely muscular, crossing the line into American comic book territory. This definitely shows in this trailer, you can tell it's not just CC2 here.

I noticed it too. Another variation of the story, states Asura just lost his powers and that his anger fuels him. But for either case its just the information we're given. I don't think Solartorobo initially ever mentioned that Red's basically a werehuman. Still mortal or not, he seems to bleed now and then. Right now I'm comparing him to Haseo.

Wha?? I admit I've mostly only been following the trailer news but I thought the twist at the end of the Solatorobo trailer wasn't that Red was a "werehuman" so much as all cat and dog people all used to be human. Which is a revelation to them because humans are portrayed as some fearsome outside menace. Again, I haven't been following that closely, so he could also be a hybrid or whatever, not sure if you're talking about something else...

Or maybe "we" was just his group? More info please, I'm packing for Germany so I can't pursue this with the usual thoroughness...

I haven't followed much myself, but since when did I need too make the reference. Red is able to transform into a human, so far, at least from what I've followed its only him. There is one other set of *humans in the story but none of that was mentioned at the initial release. Red can also merge with his robo. Personally I wish there was a wikia for it. But encase we're on different lines here, you can do more with it than I can. (note never visit kemonono again)..:

+ Also could you take peek at the second image. I'm sure its just upgrades but I've been wanting to know what it states for a while. Shoot you wanted more info. Basically sometime in the story, Red gained this ability called trans which allows him to temporary become human, following that Red can also update his robo to further increase his abilities.

The game looks amazing. I definitely enjoy the visuals and so far the crazy ass gameplay shown. It's like what happens if Bayonetta knocked up Kratos lulz.

It's crazy alright. Perhaps..."too" crazy. I'm not really a fan of senseless brutality. If this game's story doesn't propell me to think otherwise, I'm afraid I won't be getting it.

My main qualm is the color scheme, it seems kinda boring to me...

(Sorry, still haven't gotten caught up on Solatorobo news...)
